This is SWIMs first post on bluelight, but too many concerns have crossed his mind the past few days. SWIM relapsed and banged some H last week. By some, I mean a lot. The best part about it? Recent information leads SWIM to believe that they might have Pulmonary Embolism... Unfortunately. Once back in the saddle, he started doing the stupid shit that led him to try to quit. SWIM used an uncleaned rig.. most likely with coagulated blood inside of it three times last week. On top of this, he also IVed into his femoral vein as a result of veins being impossible to hit anywhere else (hmmm wonder why.) The biggest concern is that the last four times trying to IV, SWIM's blood has clotted before he could even inject the solution into his vein. Everytime he tries to inject, a burning sensation under his skin overwhelms him. As well, he has noticed slight breathing problems, and also a bit of fatigue, dizziness getting up from sitting for a while. Three days ago, he decided to take an anti-biotic(amoxicillin.) This resulted in the most unbearable sickness for almost an entire day. He noticed that his veins are now absolutely rock solid, to the point of a new rig bending on the first try(No Joke.) This has to be PE... too many things pointing towards it.... he just wishes he would have taken better care of himself. Any feedback or suggestions? SWIM will be going to get an MRI tomorrow.

If you have a pulmonary embolism you should be in an emergency room right now. That is not something you sit around waiting for an MRI to diagnose.\

Also a pul. embolism would be more noticeable than slight breathing difficulty and fatigue. Its an acute condition and if you are stricken by it you would have needed to be rushed to the hospital immediately. No one here can say what is wrong with you, but it very well could be the signs of something very bad on the cusp of happening.

Edit: My apologies I was under the impression that if it didn't manifest with symptoms they would eventually present themselves. It seems a small one can go unnoticed, but if there are symptoms like the ones mentioned it should definitely be checked out. A small one can get worse and it could be a sign of a issue with blood clots that means the risk is high for more to develop.

Just for future reference for anyone else reading this, this is not true.

Look at WebMD website under pulonary embolism for verification but some people can have a PE and not even be aware of it because they have NO symptoms.
