Yea I agree completley. I cant afford to be unemployed though, since I aint getting JSA or anything. When there is no other option there is only one outcome

No mystery, a user here was persistently vile and ended up accumulating so many infraction points they got banned, not sure for how long.

They keep creating new accounts but it's fairly obvious that it's them.

The worst thing is, I get on with the guy, and I never, ever twig that it's him until he PMs me or gets banned again.

Shockingly cool here today, but I've gone against convention and left my bedroom door open so got bit of airflow going. Needs it really, only have my TV, PS3 and lappy running but it fucking makes a difference. Just had Mum come in and attempt to affix a fly...sticky....thing to my lights so that's gonna end in tears when I inevitably get caught in it, hangs just about head height.

I've seen one catch a sparrow before, they don't fuck about.

I left a job as Head of School at a large college, and moved to Devon, couldn't find a teaching job straight away, apart from at shit private "Language Schools"...so I got a warehouse job, mindnumbing, barely over minimum wage, well below my "salary ceiling"....

Then i saw the RM job advertised so thought I'd do that in the interim. After 6 months I stopped looking for teaching jobs.

I STILL after 10 years earn a lot less than I did before. But I accidentally found something I enjoy more.

Struttergear, don't live in a fantasy world. as a 21 year old graduate you are not going to walk into a job and earn a tidy salary just like that. it doesn't work that way.

You have to graft. All you are aiming for is enough to survive, the rest comes later.

I've been doing shit jobs since I was 16, I've spent 3 years working towards the final stepping stone of being where I wanna be. I agree with what you're saying, the job I've been offered at the moment is shit pay on a 6 month trial, but I took it. I want the experience and I know I can go better after that. I aint too good for any job, but I'm determined not go backwards at this critical point. I've been doing anything from working at the Co-Op to labouring, to site engineering, consulting and site management in the past five years. Now I wana get my foot in the door for contract management before it's too late. If I take a different path now I might not be able to get back where I want to be. I enjoy the work, I just wana start the job I was offered lol.

Ouch! Lay off the phenazepam mate, it will only end in tears! The half life is so ridiculously long that even a week after your last dose when you think you are 'back to normal', to everyone else you are still a complete, drooling mess. I had a 2 week run on that stuff and it took me about a month after my mrs chucked it all in the bin before I could even spell my name properly. Lost me job, got nicked for shoplifting, got run over etc. etc....

Man I need to get out of here and into my own place pronto. Just got Mum going 'stop keeping more than one cup in your room' because apparently she'd waited for me to go bring the washing in to go check it out. I told her I had no washing up cos I've got the one for water and the one for tea and I'll do my washing up in the fucking bathroom sink. I need to find out how to change the combination lock. Apparently it's the 'guest room' now so it has to be kept pristine (we have another room with a bed in that literally no one uses), but I'm gonna be here for another month or two at least and it's not filthy, just...well no sane person could find complaint with it. I wiped down the desk yesterday and then she turns round and goes 'now clean the desk'. Woman is just delusional and needs to medicate herself properly. I'm keeping to myself and I know it's not my house but I'd like some degree of...I dunno, privacy and trust. I do most the housework.

Can't complain really though, least I'm not paying rent this time round

edit: the combination to my room is my year of birth, which is the only time she can ever remember it. Usually she places me somewhere in the 17 to 35 category.

benzos are a one way street. not recreational drugs, they are useful for emergencies and thats it. find other ways to cope.

I've never got that English logic of going away when the temp here atm is equal if not hotter than S.E. Asia.
I know you hooked tje trip possibly months ago but so many English do that.
Personally I would go to Cornwall or even North Scotland in the UK summer, as I said in a post earlier I've lost several freinds & dealers in Thailand plus the punishment for drugs is so savage over there, 1 spliff is a few months in a hell pit of. Torment, loads of malaria, deadly snakes, meth smoking lady boys & far to many middle class gap year, white folks with dreadlocks is a living hell to me.

But have a nice time over there, personally I suffer flight rage due to my huge nicotine addiction, yes on my last flight 3 months ago I tried to sneak a quick roll up in the toilet but it didn't work & the stewardess threatened I would be arrested on landing if I did anything like that again, the idea of a western Russian jail kind of overloaded my addiction to nicotine very quickly folks

Haha - No I booked two days ago. I have been to Samui a few times and really enjoy the vibe, Yeah Phuket is going to be a lot trashier but I will find that out for myself in a few weeks :D. ( Take your e-cig into the bathroom - fire alarm safe ).
