a already have Sam ! :( Etizolam no longer delivers, phenaz does. Seriously though im gonna me doin some thorogh research today, lookin at all the evidence, and making a more informed choice "at the end of the day".

i think i got away with it first time, very luckily, the fact that i became unable to type must have meant something pretty serious was going on. I was taking huge mad doses on a permanent basis though. But it is time to be more sensible and well informed.

Yeah I'll nag you too. It's been kind of cool watching you getting more coherent and also getting a bit of a grip on yourself lately, please don't throw it away like a dafty.
 
It doesn't mogadon is a BP registered Benzo that has been prescribed for yonks . No why would i try it ?

I like being at least semi coherent .;) Janc knows the score
 
Why you would replace etizolam with phenaz is something only you and the demon that possesses you can know.

If it stops working that isn't a sign to take more or use a stronger drug.

Well, not if you're trying to get clean it isn't. Or stay sane and alive.
 
I don't know if I've mentioned this already- I've certainly been thinking it- but the recent MDB has made a hell of a lot more sense and sounded like he was on track a bit compared to the MDB six months ago. Don't piss that away!

Knock speaketh much sense too.
 
thankyou guys for the encouragement & support. Maybe id just be better off going through a month of insomnia then and waiting for my body to adjust to life without AH. In the end thats all it did for me - send me to sleep, and nothing more, apart from the occasional anxiety attack thrown in for good measure.

I do believe you all btw that phenaz is bad, i just have to see the facts for myself first hand. 8( a few weeks -= unable to type, or understand how to reset a pswd.. clearly not good.

You have also convinced me to stick to Bupe plan C, and stick yo my original taper. Well original taper + 4 days unplanned hedonism ( thats nothing in the grand scheme of things)

the things im finding out about bupe, should i say them here and encourage people's bad habits ?

Yeah thats my script 30ml of Somnite (Liquid Mogadon ) a day .

Some folk don't like moggys as they make you drowsy the next day , not nasty like the Z drugs though . More of a nice drowsy .

I rate them as the best sleeper benzo out there , Temazepam will put you asleep Mogadon will keep you asleep .

Like all benzo's they should only be used for 2 /3 weeks max not 14 years like me but eh ? I'm ok with it .

Hmm maybe I hadn't mentioned it, but the thing was presented as a fait accompli when I first saw it... And I immediately started mocking it! along the lines of "that'll drive you mental".

its a planned temporary measure - the absence of ah is causing insomnia. Bupe is stimulating as fuck. Double whammy you see. Do i fall back on strong benzos other sleeping aids until i adjust or just 'man up' and turn into The Machinist or Robert De Niro in the taxi driver. Insomnia alone can drive you insane, as about15 pv threads will testify.

You've told us your GP doesn't listen to you anymore. Have you attempted to change your GP?

Listen I don't think the absence of AH is causing insomnia at all. I am absent AH and I can sleep. Not tonight, fair enough I was on drugs but last night I slept. Admittedly I'd taken AH but that's me not you!

I'm hoping you can at least see the humour in this :D
 
Insomnia's dreadful, yes, but rebound insomnia from withdrawal is worse.

By the way, bupe does not keep you awake all night if you take it at a sensible time.

And yeah, a change of GP might be a good idea. Not that it's always easy to make big changes like that, but if you're serious...
 
i wonder if my gp would prescribe me mogadon for 2 weeks LMFAO at the chances of that. A fine relationship of mutual respect has descended into one of distrust and miscoumminscation, and even a total closed minded unwilliingness to listen on her behalf.

last time i went she gave me a 7 strip of 3.75 mg zopilclones. She hasnt got a Fuckin clue. I think i want to chnage gp or gp surgery perhaps.

If it's all about what prescription you're coming out with, are you surprised your GP 'isn't listening'?

Seriously, with those seven Zops you've done a hell of a lot better than many people on this forum who go to their GP for insomnia. How is she to know you won't feel them because you're guzzling etizolam and phenaz right, left and centre?

Your GP isn't there to write sleeper prescriptions. Maybe fifty years ago, yeah.
 
Yes I think you need to change GP and it's probably easier if you go to a different practice. Sorry I should have recommended this to you sooner.

But in the meantime we have to get you some sleep. What do you think about jumping back on low dose AH? Would that get you back to a better place?


edit: Myshkin, I believe his GP knows about his long-term AH7921 and etizolam (ab)use. I don't think they are treating it seriously enough.

sorry can you calify that please, the bit that must have caused you to mention it in the first place ?

I have about 6 properly informed peer support/potentially brilliant drugs workers on my case now thanks to eadd. =D <3 No more AH though thanks Knock.

yeah my gpknows everything. Maybe i should try that sedative ant depresant ?

Maybe this is it.

We were talking in another thread about "workfare", I had said soil goods in M&S and you were ready to shit in their chocolate and piss in their soup, I said you might act that out on a phenazepam diet. Somewhere else you'd mentioned switching to phenazepam.
