How to tell difference between acid & an RC?

The best way to know for sure if you are getting LSD today is to buy it using the internet and read reviews by other people who have done LSD before. I find very few people actually sell real LSD "live" these days. It's always some damn RC on a blotter...

I've never had any luck with this actually.
IME nobody knows better. They will list a great review for LSD but it turns out to be DOX
 
Well it was 6 years ago I even bothered to check, maybe it's even worse today than it was then, sucks if so.
 
There's an independent group of people lab-testing the LSD that is on <that well-known media hyped page> though, seems to be pretty accurate and most of the time the blotters just contain a lower amount of LSD. Never tried an order but seems pretty legit for those parts of the internet

BINGO! We have a winner! Never buy drugs at a concert, club, fest UNLESS you are 100% certain of your source. To do otherwise is stupid & dangerous. It's a bitch, but it's true!

Your life & your health is MUCH more important than one gig, one night out, one festival!
 
Just elaborating a bit more on my bitter/spitter comment, while there can definitely sometimes be a little taste in the blotter from the ink in the art (the legit hoffmans, great example) its a very different "taste" than the legitimate chemical bitterness and numbing of putting just a 800ug 25i tab in your mouth. I'm not the most insanely experienced psychonaut but I can absolutely tell the difference between having an NBOMe in my mouth and L...and to whoever said you couldn't tell the difference based on experiences.. If you can't tell the difference between the digital NBOMe visuals and psychotic looping in comparison to the flow-y and cartoonish world of LSD I'd doubt you've done that much real L, this isnt meant to be a dick measuring post either :P

Also I'll validate said media renowned website, theres some nice unperf'ed WoW coming from there right now, reaaal nice

Well put. Not that my comment adds much but legitimate White on White is all over the west coast, in much greater amounts then I used to think. acid is surreal, flowing in seemingly the same way water does, where is 25i is completely "digital" and artificial in an eerily real way, I hate it.
 
Normally the taste of the NBOMes is far more bitter, the effect starts much faster than LSD

please don't be an appeal to nature argument!

for all you know 25i is found in nature, we just haven't found it yet!

btw do you understand what digital means? is LSD digital/analog like a tube/solid state amplifier? lol and then peyote is just like a tube amp, and then we have 25i as a pure solid state piece of shit garbage amplifier. Sorry if you don't use guitars/basses whatever but that's a solid analogy that doesn't hold for drugs!
 
To answer the OP's question, I could differentiate LSD from most other psychedelic chemicals by effects alone. Certainly from an NBOMe. The body load would be a dead giveaway, because NBOMes make me nauseous on the come up, but LSD is much smoother. The mental effects differ as well.
 
TheAppleCore, that's with knowing which chemical you have though. I'd bet that if you were to take an NBOMe thinking it was LSD (and all was equal in terms of ROA, duration, side-effects) then you'd say you had a very recreational trip or something.

Expectations can change even the most objective details. An audiophile, for example, can't discern between 256kbit MP3s and a 24-bit CD recording in a blind-test when even I (a sceptic on this sort of thing) swear to hear a qualitative difference between my .wav and .mp3 collection
 
^Yep, though I must agree with TAC (am I cool enough for abbreviations?) that the NBOMes have a very distinct feeling to them. Just don't think that's enough for even the most seasoned of users to be able to say they took one or the other

Heh sorry to go OT but I have to call a BS on that. Sure, blind test me with a 256kbit MP3 (assuming you mean 16bit format) vs CD standard (16b/44k) wav files but any MP3 against 24b/48k format...I'd take and pass that test!

Might have been exaggerating a bit on the MP3 -> 24 bit thing, but that's besides the point, really

[EDIT] Actually, after a short search on the difference between 16 and 24 bit I stand corrected as most people pass that test actually. Oh well
