I don't have a large circle of friends and aquaintances yet I could list at least 5 people who tried the pre-ban and didn't like it.
Reasons vary: 'it's way too intense' (really, I'm not lying!), 'makes me too paranoid', 'feels dirty and smells', 'the duration is too short', 'MDMA/coke/speed (and even methylone) are much better'.

See, me, Mailmonkey, ColtDan, JohnnyVodka, to name only a few, have been involved in a virtual cuddle puddle for years on EADD, saying how much we like that amazing rushy, intensely euphoric and absolute high, getting all nostalgic about the pre-ban, etc, we even have our little running joke about the Church of The Drone with MailMonkey being the High Priest :)

Then every time we get too excited here comes frowning Uncle Shambles shaking his head and wagging his finger, saying that Mephedrone is a s***t drug... ;)
 
Meph is a shit drug, I'd agree with Shambles on that. The people are dull, and talk more than even people on meth. I had a cousin who lost it and is now in the clink for doing really stupid shit on or for the drug, so perhaps I just have reasons to be personally biased against this particular drug. :\
 
Shambles is wrong. Only on this one. But wrong. It's a shame really, seems like a nice lad apart from his perverse dislike of pirate. He's probably homosexual. That'll be it.

Seeing people on meph whilst not on it is odd, when i stopped doing it my friends carried on and i drank and did md or whatever, and i noticed them talking up in peoples faces and rushing around, too much and theyd be flapping around in a state, its all delusional cos when your on it you feel so sharp and amazing and on form, in reality sometimes its far from it. house gatherings with everybody on it the chatting is full force, chatting over each other. saying that when im not too wired off i think im alright, had some amazing chats, incredible times on that stuff. the stimulation is over the top though, no wonder why i used to feel burnt out for days after

No wait, that's not true. I do it occasionally with mates, house gatherings as you say, and I don't recognise what you're saying. Maybe I've got different mates.

Oh, meph made me paranoid as hell eventually, but then I learned just to stay in and watch prOn on it rather than go out. Meph paranoia is a bitch. I went on a date once a couple of hours after having a few lines and thinking it had worn off. When we got to the (bright) pub, i was shifty and twitchy as fuck. Not one of my proudest moments. :o
 
I used to get paranoid after it, jumping to illogical conslusions and all sorts of stuff, wasnt nice

I'm willing to bet lots of money that, for example, had you had a 36 hour fuckfest with your girlfriend, whatever, you wouldn't have had the same paranoid 'comedowns'

Fuck it, maybe I'm wrong. But I don't think so. Set and setting. Can't underestimate it. Paranoia is certainly not inevitable on meph. I have never had it, and I'm not fucking special man. Just do drugs, lots of drugs, with me girlfriend. Set and setting.

The stuff we were all waiting on def isn't pre ban quality anyway. It's ok. Good whack off it alright but you need big doses and it's very short lived.

Glad you agree. that dr robnik has been banging on saying im a clueless muppet and its deffinately good 4-MMC. all the reviews of it are really good, but it aint that good. Do you think it smells "bleachy"?
