Chipped forever until the most recent year of daily use. (Another one bites the dust. Just be careful, young hopefuls.) >i was using what I feel< was like '5 bags a day' as an average is an underestimate Not dick sizing, just - I was moderately dependent at best. Or would it be least?
I tapered with H as much as I could for two weeks - I was keeping myself uncomfortable by underdosing during this period leading up to my quitting, where I believe I was down to about two bags (0.2g) a day. Along with clonazepam to taste.
A day+ of 'cold turkey' (clonidine, klonopin (had to ration so my 1.5mg/day was nothing for me), ibuprofen and loperamide) before I started with 4mg suboxone, next day 4mg, and then three days of 2mg. Now, today makes a week and I feel no different, passing 24 hours since my last 2mg sub.
Does strict, minimal suboxone-aided detox really occur that quickly? Or do I have more subs in me than Quiznos and I'm just hoping for the best? I hear such varied reports of subs, dosage, timing and serum levels/pragmatic dosing equivalents.
I mean, I feel edgy as fuck, still hot/cold and achy/listless but I am by no means hurting like I expected.

Oops, and I've been using meth daily for months (IV, micro doses but even 50mg would have me coughing after a shot.
I didn't use meth during the roughest four days where I was in bed trying to sleep 24 hours/day but once I was well enough to do basics beyond eating and showering, about day 5 I started back using even smaller doses of meth (anxiety like you wouldn't believe but it helped me stay resolute with kicking.)
I feel like I'm making progress based on less and less need for sleep (tina doesn't keep me up too much since using regularly) but if I'm disillusioned, I'd change my behavior to avoid a surprising backlash. FWIW, the meth is next to go, but I know I'll need it during PAWS, at which point I'll stick to oral, with commensurately lower doses.
Thanks for taking time to reply! If something resonates with you and you're planning on quitting, feel free to ask more about my approach because even if I still have a ways to go before I'm off any opioid entirely, I know I'm through the acute phase and it was the easiest yet, despite my most addicted state.
