So I know there's not loads of people here that regularly use racetams, but to those of you who do, which is your favorite for use when studying or 'cramming' before exams?
I found piracetam, to be very relaxing and have an effect somewhat similar to phenibut. Aniracetam is great I'm producing music or doing music theory as it really pronounces the individual parts of a song and helps you to pick and analyze parts with ease. It also increases the enjoyability of the music. But for studying long hours and transferring what you read in textbooks etc to your memory I'm not sure which racetam works best personally I'd probably say oxiracetam. What about you?

you could give sulbutiamine a blast maybe, or, l-theanine+caffeine, noopept, and choline sources like alpha-gpc wouldn't hurt

Yeah I've heard good things about sulbutiamine, however I've also heard its quite 'harsh' feeling on your body, was this the case for you? Is it viable for long-term use also?

Didn't feel harsh on my body at all. Seemed to give me a boost, if I took too much it gave me a headache.

Hmm, sounds interesting! I might give that a go! Still wondering about racetams though, I wonder if anyone here has tried any of the less discussed racetams like phenylpiracetam, rolipram or nefiracetam?

nefiracetam I didn't find particularly special, and the whole testicular atrophy thing makes me little reluctant to explore it more thoroughly. Although that hasn't been demonstrated in humans - I take ketamine without fear of olney's lesions so perhaps this is hypocritical. (balls over brain? haha.)

edit: strange that you had to take ani daily - I found it one of the most immediate acting racetams, with no additional benefit from taking it every day...

The first time I used it it was more immediate working but that edge seems to have gone.
As you said, not sure that nefi is worth trying without a bit more research, but I'd love to try something like rolipram, it sounds really promising

I don't "feel" anything with sulbuthiamine but it does seem to help with memory (ie learning new words/concepts)

Racetams don't help with my kind of studying , I'm guessing they are more enhancing for the right brain hemisphere (visual, spatial, calculus) and not so much for anything related to words/language.
