If you don't know what a neti pot is, in a nutshell, it's a little ceramic means of irrigating your nasal passages with warm saline solution to get the mucus out. If you don't tilt your head forward enough, it trickles down the back of your throat a little bit.

Wouldn't this be an effective ROA, akin to snorting, if you dissolved some drug in its salt form in the saline solution?

it trickles down the back of your throat a little bit.

That's your problem right there... far too much would end up dripping down your throat. Nasal sprays can work, but the dosage needs to be pretty concentrated. If you need multiple sprays then you're going to end with liquid dribbling out one end of your nasal passageways.

Neti pots or any saline based nasal wash are excellent for nose "after care", on the other hand.

One thing that rarely seems to get mentioned here on BL is to check that whatever you're planning on snorting dissolves freely in cold water beforehand.

This can be done by sprinkling a tiny amount of whatever drug you're planning on using into a small teaspoon full of cold water.

If it isn't water soluble you're asking for blockage & irritation. (If it doesn't dissolve it won't be absorbed effectively either).

Prevention is better than cure, etc, etc. <3

You took that out of context. It doesn't trickle down the back of your throat if you do it right.

Neti pots are used with warm water. You can dissolve whatever into hot water and let it cool to just warm water.
