the best wide receiver corp. in all of football?

i only added in the patriots to annoy the pats haters here. i notice you didn't disagree that the packers, saints & giants have better wr corps.

at least we can all agree that the steelers are way down the list :)

nobody as a 1-2 punch at WR even close to ATL

I think Denver has the best overall wr attack

matt ryan is a lucky man, personally I don't consider him a top 10 talent in the league...maybe top 15

i'm far from a sam Bradford fan or apologist, but I would love to see what he could do if he were on Atlanta, i'm thinking very similar, if not better than matty boy

as far as the saints and packers, those WRs are indispensable, I hate to say it, but they are system players, benefitting from excellence at qb, just look at how bad Robert meachem really is

Jordy Nelson and who? (Nelson isnt even that good imo either)
Marques Colston and who? (same with Colston)
name some players that will further prove my point.

Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz are great but still Roddy and Julio any day of the week.

I don't think you've watched him enough then. He was #1 in passes on target last year which imo could be seen as the #1 stat to look at for QBs.
does roddy and julio help a lot? sure. but also remember falcons o-line has been pretty weak his entire career and he is known for being able to get the ball out quickly.
top 5 easily imo

nfc south opponents had awful secondarys last year, historically bad

just take that into consideration

Atlanta s.o.s. last year was either the easiest or 2nd easiest last year

I know rams current OL coach came from Atlanta and the guy gets a shit load of praise from the fans, I just go along what they say, I only notice the obvious when it comes to OLinemen

can't really comment how good matt ryan is, I really don't like talking about how good people are, there really isn't anything to properly measure talent, unless you've been around NFL players on a daily basis for years

just curious about how other qbs would do if they played on Atlanta and how matt ryan would do on other teams

i think people forget how good matt ryan played as a rookie with a shitty o-line and the only player he had to throw to was roddy white. no gonzalez or julio and the o-line was worse then.

he was seriously dead on all last season accuracy wise and some of the passes he made have nothing to do with the players around him.

not even talking football now

it's just I can't stand his stupid irish infested face

okay

his resume is crazy good, but I for the last time I just would like to see how he would do on any nfc west team or any afc east team not named flag fuckers

lol i know what you mean there are some players that i do that too

but he is a genuinely nice guy who if you met i guarantee it would be impossible to hate him.

my buddy saw him with some super hot chick at this VIP thing before the NCAA championship on monday night. hopefully he's cheating on his ugly wife.

There was once a team with Santana Moss, Reggie Wayne, and Andre Johnson as its top 3 receivers. In addition, tight ends Jeremy Shockey and Kellen Winslow II were also on the squad.

That was the best receiving corp of all time.

As for today, it is difficult to determine. I think the Ravens had an outstanding group as a whole last year, even though none of them were truly elite in the way Larry Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson were. Good receivers are a dime a dozen these days, you can make legitimate arguments for 10 different teams having the best receiving corp in the nation right now.

Not sure if they were the best , but the Houston Oilers with Warren Moon were fun to watch.

Givens
Haywood Jeffries
Drew hill

not going to say greatest of all time, but definetly the most significant group in the past 25 years

bruce, holt, hakim, proehl

bruce's leadership is unmatched, I definitely feel that steven Jackson learned how to lead by bruce

the quietest guy on the team, lead by example, and when he did speak it was with extreme volume....he will be a WR coach some day

I saw on his website he has two days in may where you can pay like 150 for an hour for him to teach you how to be an awesome WR, I would def drop the money, say fuck all this running around and shit, and just listen to him give me life lessons....I know a year or two ago he was volunteering time with rookies to teach them how to save their money, I almost feel like if you go out looking for advice on how to save cash, you probably don't need the advice, pretty sure he publically said it should be mandatory for all teams to teach their rookies financial shit

Crabtree
Boldin
Manningham

and you might as well throw in Vernon Davis

:)

Vance Mcdonald and QUinton Patton look like talented rookies aswell

AJ Jenkins( ouir 1st round draft pick last year) hasnt looked good so far, and has seen limited playing time, but Im not ready to give up on him yet.

Manningham and Kyle Williams were having decent seasons last year before they got injured too

The 49ers have plenty of talent and depth at WR this year. With Kaepernick at the helm they could easily turn into one of the best wr corps in football

If I had to guess I'd say our WR's this year will be Crabtree, Boldin, Patton, Jenkins

TE's = Vernon Davis and Vance Mcdonald

Williams and Manningham start the season on IR to save roster spots

Are you a 49er fan waao?

At this moment right now, Id say the Falcons

I see a lot of backups on the 49ers, no real game changers though
