Etizolam and GI discomfort

Now, I can't remember whether this has been mentioned somewhere on bl, but does anyone get occasional GI discomfort when taking etizolam? Ranging from a weird feeling of emptiness to downright discomfort? I'd noticed it before, but it was barely there...

However, last Friday, after taking 2mg late afternoon, and another 3mg late before bed, I experienced serious discomfort, gassiness, constant burping and a general feeling of a churning stomach not dissimilar to the horrible gurgling stomach of an alcohol hangover. Anyone else noticed this??

I used to get hiccups on etizolam a lot, but usually after 6 or 7 pills, never on just a couple. Used be worse when drinking beer as well.

Aye hiccups I can understand, but this was full on writhing around discomfort. Maybe there was another mitigating factor, who know :|

An excellent trick for hiccups that I couldn't believe the simplicity of...

Breathe in then exhale deeply and forcefully, and keep going "past" the end of your out-breath. Contracting those muscles in the diaphragm is like a 'manual hiccup' and forces the trapped air out more effectively than the body's 'automatic' solution. With practise it can be done without the deep breath :D

Not had any problem with stomach discomfort on em, agreed with neurogeek they make me hungry

This works a treat. My mate told me to do that a couple of years ago, haven't been bothered by hiccups for more than 2 minutes since.

I find that sometimes diazepam sometimes makes me feel like I've not eaten for a day or two when I wake up the following morning.
I've also a couple of times woken up to hear fizzing & popping noises in my stomach, whether it's related to the diazepam though I can't be sure.

Are they tabs? Etiz in solution (glycerol or propylene glycol) never gives me a stomach problem, but these tabs I have kill my stomach.

Not sure if it's something that binds the Etiz to the paper, or if it's the little square itself poking around in my stomach, but it hurts! I end up eating a ton to try to soothe my stomach. Hmm, guess I could just suck on the tabs and spit them out to figure this out, not sure why I'm just thinking of that.

Anyone had the same experience?

I get the hiccups pretty badly if I take a lot, and sometimes a rumbling kinda uncomfortable stomach but it's only on high doses. I noticed it more on a 9mg dose of Diclazepam last night than I would on that dose of Etiz.
