opiate scene in kenya

So nobody's actually been to kenya? It kinds sounds like the price of heroin is 1/5th the price in india, but I guess it depends on the part of india. Is it cheaper by the north border? Whats the best place in india for cheap heroin? punjab?
 
it generally gets more expensive and lower quality the further from the source it gets!

I knew an Indian crackhead who regularly promised he'd take me to his hometown one day and show me the scene over there. Dirt cheap and very high quality on the heroin front. Also on the crack side apparently which surprised me somewhat. He said it was pretty underground - literally almost - and hard for foreigners to get access to unless a local can vouch for 'em. Said it was mostly crack/smack dens in slum areas where you go to buy and use. Dunno which part he was from exactly though so of little use.

It did sound very interesting actually when he spoke about it. Sounded much more like oldskool opium den stuff - knocking on a door with a flap that opens to check out who's knocking before being allowed in stylee. That's more or less exactly how he described it being. Very different kinda scene to over here and a much bigger one than I'd've imagined. Especially as far as crack goes. Just never struck me as the kinda drug you'd find much use of in such a comparatively poor country so far from the producing countries. Priced to match the local economy and mostly shipped from Africa apparently. Possibly Kenya. Aaaaaand we're back on topic :D
 
hmm... i donno shambles, ive known a few indian lads (and lasses for that matter) with their we own palaces back home and im an actual princess stories to be taken in by that one. gear obviously yes, but crack? cant imagine theres a huge market (due to economics) and look how remote it is from south america.. but anything is possible i suppose
 
I don't really see that he had any reason to lie about it. Was all pretty scummy and underground from what he said. Poor local addicts and rich Indian kids slumming it from what he said. His dad was loaded and set him back home when he got out of nick the first time for robbing the family business for smack money and he came back with a crack habit instead. Them's the breaks. I wasn't complaining as he was cashing cheques in his old man's name on a daily basis and always took me with him to score. Never gotten through so much rock in me life - even when I was dealing the stuff 8o
 
Sounds plausible. Coke is very cheap in certain parts of the world, it's just that in Europe they can get away with selling a heavily adulterated product for top dollar, thick customers. I watched that Vice documentary about Liberia where they visited this slum in Monrovia and there was an 8 year old kid smoking heroin and crack, and Shane the guy from Vice asked his guide how comes that people here do so much crack and heroin when they're so expensive in North America. The guy said that back during the civil war local militias used to exchange diamonds for drugs.
 
Indeed. Capitalism innit. Charge as much as you can possibly get away with. In poorer countries you can't get away with charging as much. Simple as that.

Have known plenty Pakistanis whose family sent them back home to try to get them off the scag who just ended up with even bigger habits as it's so cheap over there but is more obviously gonna be cheap with heroin.

Have seen that Vice doc about Liberia and a few others about the smack/coke/crack scene in various African countries and availability and price really don't seem to be an issue.
 
really shambles? i can count the number of baghead asians ive encountered on one hand, in prison its still overwhelmingly white at the methadone cage. bit less so in inner city prisons, winson green et al, but still


ever met an asian girl junkie? i havent.. and i lived in dudley west mids for years
