Done 6 miles on the bike, chest press and squats. Did too much, I am not as fit as I thought I was. Need to start off slow, I've got a 20 a day habit. Shouldn't kid myself.

Also, I had no breakfast, and drank too much powerade. Blue watery sick right out of me nose. Bootiful.

You should have eaten before hand, at least something, and you gotta start somewhere. It sounds like you should have gone easier on yourself your first day getting back into the routine.

I'm not going to a gym at the moment, but am used to exercising well each day, and I wouldn't go from nothing to what I'm doing now - just not a smart idea.

Yea definitely. Was kidding myself I was capable of it, warmed up on the bike and did 3 miles in ten minutes. Felt sick, should of stopped at that point but didnt wana look like a dick haha. Gonna take it slowly next time.

Lol maybe. Im just not that much into exercising gym wise. I used to play Sunday League football and did a lot of Karate and shit up until I was like 18. Just got no definition anymore, and seriously fuck all stamina. Wouldnt last ten minutes on a football pitch now. Mates keep telling me I'd be a unit if I actually bothered getting off my arse and got in the gym, just a matter of doing it.

A few jarheads took too much. If you follow the guidelines and stay hydrated you'll be alright

Ah right I see. I'm not up for supplements anyway to be honest, not going to be hitting it hard enough

It's hard to stop yourself once you start going at that pace. I normally walk anywhere so quickly that by the time I'm done getting to where I'm going, I've got an amazing endorphin high from the exercise. It feels really good lol.

Nonetheless, congrats on getting back into exercise, it's an amazing thing to embrace in your life. :D
 
I wish I still had weight training for PE, got my pump on hard in that class. Now I'm stuck lifting boxes full of cat litter and doing pull ups off my deck to stay in shape lolol

My record is 16 pull ups though.. hard shit. The real ones too, not the little half-way-down bitch type. I only weigh like 110lb TOPS, so that's probably why lmao

I'm closer to 170 lbs, how does one only weigh 110 lbs? 8(

One of my friends who was 6'3" used to weigh less than 110 lbs so I know it's possible but god damn...
 
You'll gain weight like nobodys business when you hit your last teenage years Folley. At your age I was still 6ft4 but around 155lb. Proper gangly. Now I'm 21 years old, 203 lb still 6f4. Men do all their filling out 19-25, you've got a lot of growing yet son !

It's possible to still grow past 25 years old too, just for the record. Probably not a common experience though.

Derrick Rose was 6'3 last year this year he was measured in at 6'4 o_O, he's 24. You still grow a bit into your 20's just not too much.

It's actually kind of a bitch, because I need to put weights in a back pack if I really want to do pull up, push ups or any other body weight exercise and challenge myself

I'm like 4 years older than you and weight 105... 5'6, try to beat that lol. I used to weight 97-100 half a year ago though (using speed and rolling didn't help).

I never seena fat drug user, only skinny ones, so yeh

you guys seriously need to eat more. i get that doing certain drugs kills your appetite but that's skin and bones territory.
hitting the gym by itself and not getting your daily calorie requirements = you'll still be stuck at the same weight!! who cares if you can do 100000000 pullups at 110lbs, YOU STILL WEIGH < 110LBS!!!

so start eating over your daily calorie maintenance, hit the gym, and you'll fill out. 100% guaranteed.
for the record i'm 5'9" 155. Very average weight, I'd like to add some more muscle mass though.
 
lol I eat all the damn time. As well as take protein supplements.. I can't help that my metabolism is ridiculously high, nor do I particularly mind it

my co-worker says that... and she will slowly nibble at 1 muffin over an 8 hour shift. also claims a high metabolism. you just need to eat more.

stop spending your $ on the protein, save that for later. you'll make quickly make noob gains like everyone else when you first start lifting weights, provided you eat well.

if you hate cooking, you need to get on the big mac or whopper time, those are like 800 cals each. we have whopper wednesdays here in canada, they're $2, great for bulking. burritos are like 400 cals, $1 in the frozen food section at your local supermarket.
i'm trying to help you out here brah, srs. oh and cardio kills gains, you just need to focus on lifting weights at the gym.
