Guilty pleasures in TV & music

mumford and sons are half decent IMO, (a bit like Noah and the Whale's first two albums, but not as good) although they could become annoying, not heard of any of the others

I'm going to have to buy a 21 pilots t-shirt. Naffest band name ive ever heard. I bet they werent trying to be funny either. It beats John Peel's favourites like Campervanbethoven and Stump and Soupdragons and mighty lemon drops and halfmanhalfbiscuit who weren't taking themselves seriously.

Probably mentioned it before in this thread, must have in fact, but just in case: Sunset Beach. Holy shit. Used to watch it religiously with my ex and we were trying to find some torrents of it the other day. Fucking haunted paintings, some sort of Battle Royale style desert island bollocks, meth-faced bloke getting done up in drag and skulking round for some reason. I still have no idea if the whole thing was serious or just a straight-faced piss take. Like, there would be all this mad shit but the majority of it was standard soap plot fare. Genius, tho. Also Love Boat, or Cruise, or whatever that was on just after or before once Sunset Beach inexplicably got moved to like a 4am time slot.

edit: forgot to mention the talking dog and the turkey baster rape. Definitely a piss take.

Yes indeed the bill did get cancelled. They reckon the ratings dropped dramatically, which I think is a massive shame, because for a show that can be on tv at any time of the day to be so entertaining - it's unbelieveable. It was costing 30million a year to make - apparently it just wasn't worth it towards the end. I'm currently on series 16 on youtube. When you see the old OLD ones, some of the budding young actors and actresses on there, you're like, OMG - she's so and so now, and so on... yeah, good show. Shame it finished.

Yeah Little Lyssa is the only one i think i could be in a room with without losing it . She left & got knocked up then came back haha. His brother Young Blood is ok as well his wife is pretty buff n Beth is well jealous you can sense it easily .

Hah!!! I often think that, and soz to say that I have watched almost all of the programs they've aired. I'm 95% sure that I recall her saying that her bosoms are real. Not sure if I believe that though. I also recall Dog saying that Beth is his perfect woman in every sense, and that she has a perfect body. That's ok if you like that kind of thing, but without sounding lezzy - imagining her naked makes me think his cheese might have slid off his cracker slightly. Youngbloods mrs left him didnt she? I'm sure he's a single dad now. They didn't make it common knowledge, but if you put 2 n 2 together it's not hard to add up.

Been too long since I watched Dog, about 4 years ago when we first got hold of digital telly i watched every episode, probably more than once too...

Are there new series out now? Are they still making it?

I think youngblood is the one with the pony tail? Anyway some are pretty funny, they get a fair amount of $$$ for some of these people though lol not a bad job...they do actually pay the bail for some of them and get them straight out.

Love it how when someones just sat down and like 10 of them run at him with a huge can of pepper spray pointed straight at there face, wrestle them to the ground shouting FUCKING YEAH BITCH YEAH WOOOOO COME ON.

Dog actually went to prison for murder and got out, probally found "god" inside now thats why hes all like dude brah you gotta change your ways, them tattys on the mrs are real, just overly large.

Has anyone seen the more recent ones? Where dog gets a machine gun looking thing that fires like pellets of smoke or something?

I love it too the briefing at the start every time "This guy is probably one of the most dangerous ice heads we've had to deal with etc" and "this guys gonna be armed, and he IS gonna use his weapons" then they always seem to walk over to Dog hands in the air, smiling, "it's a fair cop guv" etc, before

All the fake tension and drama cracks me up. Also, I find then reallllllllllly condescending to the 'perps' .
