Nah just go away for a little while longer and I'll let you know when its safe.

what an anti-climax to a meh season. the best thing about it is carl. and he made the right call, as per kenickie's post. he could have at least explained himself. ... but no, that would make too much sense, and make for less "drama". can't have people acting intelligently now. nooooo.

kinda reluctant to keep watching now that fucking boring [spoil]guvna character is still alive[/spoil].

I feel you. But surely they can't do much in terms of development as [spoil]he murdered the majority of Woodbury, which left him with nothing but two doubtful and concerned lackeys.[/spoil]

they'll use him like they did merv, as a boogie man left for dead to sping back when they run out of ideas.

i fucking hate such saturday morning cartoon villains in serious drama. first two season are so much better than this last one. the threat of being lost in such a hostile environment is so much more interesting than anything in that lame arsed woodbury place.

I can't understand the hate for the last episode, it's exactly what I expected. The Walking Dead isn't a simple hack and slash zombie show, it's a TV drama about relationships and human nature as well. Nothing ever that big happens in series enders, they've just set it up nicely for the next series. Like real life, not everything ends with a bang ! Knew they'd keep the Governer, thought he's been an excellent villain, on par with John Lithgow in Dexter.

I had no real issues with the finale myself, other than Andrea taking 10 minute breaks between freeing herself. I mean, let's be real here. It was a couple dozen people, all armed to the teeth with guns and rocket launchers, verses seven and a half people (sorry Hershel) with a baby, a few guns and a crossbow. There was no way they would be able to make an epic battle out of that. It would have been a slaughter, especially with the larger group being lead by a sadistic madman who would sooner kill his own people rather than admit defeat. His two flunkies were pretty damned stupid for not killing him when they had the chance. There's no way he's going to amass another army, so I don't know why they didn't kill him off in this last episode. There's really nowhere else to go with his character, other than him getting in one final kill before Rick and company blast his shit back to the stone age. They'll probably have him capture Michonne somehow so he can get his revenge.

Haha YES ^. Me and my mate was laughing at it so hard, no real panic, obvious was going to happen. Stupid bitch. Glad she's gone though.

My theory is he will find another town and say to its leader that Rick's group basically slaughtered his people. WW2 is a brewing ;) You heard it here first.

fuck i hope not. if the show continues like s3, i'll be turning off for sure. i don't need that kind of lame annoyance in my entertainment.

man maybe jesus will still come and we get to see that one guy i fucking forget his name. neegan there it is. its gunna need neegan and jesus to stay afloat

No drug talk in the lounge and no drug use while in film and television, pharcy. You know the rules.

After the gigantic letdown that was the season finale, I was having a hard time getting excited for the coming season.
Not anymore. That trailer cured me. The supermarket, the killing orgy outside the car, the prison apparently getting overrun.... Looks good.

I just figured out what bugs me most about this show. Andrew Lincoln is a very weak lead, and his southern US accent is not good.

I figured this out after watching another British actor play an action American lead: Antony Starr in Banshee. I think that his Sheriff Lucas Hood is what Rick should be in TWD.

Starr actually would've made a really good replacement Spartacus if he got on roids.

Now that I've seen some of Banshee, I kind of agree. He's much less slight than Lincoln and has more of the grizzled look that Rick has in the comics.
I wonder if he chooses to play Hood so over the top or if it's a show decision. Probably much more likely the latter. I don't know if Hood as Rick would be introspective enough. They've already got Daryl to be the runs too hot(emotionally) guy.
I'm generally fine with Lincoln as Rick. It looks like they've dirtied him up more for this coming season. More beard, etc. Your point is still valid, though. IMO.
One thing.... Isn't Starr a Kiwi?
