I believe you, but to an outsider it's a bit odd that you're a heterosexual bloke still going on about an unflattering photo in bad lighting from days ago. Even the people who were nice have given up now.

Yeah, but there are ways of showing your appreciation that aren't as crass. Nor based on very vague (apparent, and unflattering) resemblances. At length, days after said photo.
