going on being clean for six days tomorrow morning. been a ok withdraw as I only had two 8mg sub strips. Been smoking a little bit of herb here and there but that's about it. Really trying to kick for good or at least go on a long break. Do you think that it's easier for people who sniff to quit vs. IVing and trying to quit? I've never IV'ed before but I imagine that it's a whole other ball game? Thoughts?
My daughter's 5th birthday is coming up and I'm saving money for presents instead of buying dope. Been doing very well as I'm sick of the constant ups and downs associated with withdrawing as I get very depressed. Starting to feel better everydat and the subs for sure helped but I didn't want to rely on subs for a long period of time. I haven't been sober in forever and think that I need to at least smoke weed. But since I'm in a new town I can't find any weed and all my connects are for dope in the city. Man I just want to be clean and lead a normal life again! Thanks I feel better now...
peace
I would say that IVing is harder to quit since you have more mental triggers from that. If you are a sniffer you only really get visual triggers from seeing dope, and since money (which you might use to sniff the dope) is so common it's not really a trigger. For people that IV they also get triggers from seeing syringes, syringe caps which you might come across all the time on the streets, just looking at your veins after the shower, etc...
I haven't done dope in over a week, although I have a few days of taking percocets recently and that got me high, so I'm in a good place tolerance wise, but still need a solid 70mg to feel a decent high, but preferable 90. Then after the first high it goes right up to 120mg or so, and would be in the 200 area if I binged for the week, so I'm trying not to binge on that. I took 25mg on Tuesday, which was day 3 or 4 of a binge on it, so I'm having a bit of restless legs from stopping it, but nothing too bad since I got some hash.
