So I just got 4 36 amz concertas (cutting them to make them IR) :)

and basically I want to know if I could plug it in a gellcap or parachute at like 11pm or 12pm and have it start working when I wake up at around 6am?

I know plugging pills takes a long ass time for them to get dissolved, so I figure this would be perfect, unless 6 hours is too long?

>>I WOULD just plug like normal but I don't have any syringes and wont be able to get any.:|

I used an eye dropper to plug a 20mg addy and it hurt like a bitch because it's like ribbed with plastic, pretty thick, and it's not that long either. ouch.

So yea if this won't work then how would I go about plugging with the methylphendiate liquid concentrate with no syringe?

:?could I just stick a funnel in my ass?:? I feel like this would work, but i'm not sure.

Thanks a lot guys!

seriously? i dont know what benefits you are getting this way..... try setting your alarm clock at 4 30 am swallowing the pill and then it should be kicked in around 6..... i used to do that with my vyvanse

Don't have an alarm clock, not even one on my phone. Long story. If I had one I would just do that

so you are hoping if you take the concerta at exactly the right time in the right way it will function as an alarm clock and wake you up at 6? good luck.... there is no way to predict exactly and everyone has a different body chemistry..... why dont you spend 5$ and by a cheap alarm clock while there is time today

Never said I need it to function as an alarm clock, i have a friend wake me up.

So does plugging a gelcap take around 6 hours for it to release?

This would be totally unreliable. You can't make your own timed-release anal methylphenidate caps that magically kick in a set number of hours after you plug them. Even normal plugging is pretty unreliable, but plugging the whole pills or crushing them and putting them in gelcaps is going to be extremely unreliable. It's not like a pill/capsule would just sit there in your butt doing nothing and suddenly dissolve and rapidly absorb 6 hrs later.

If you can buy empty gelcaps you can buy a cheap alarm clock to wake you up an hour or 2 before you want to get up and take it then. Just take your Concerta as directed. If you really want it to kick in right around the time you wake up the only options would be: to take it early and go back to sleep for a bit or to crush it and swallow it as soon as you wake up, so that you wouldn't have to wait as long for it to take effect. If you're set on plugging it I think your only option is to make a liquid solution and plug it as soon as you get up.

You should be able to get an oral syringe to plug it with easily at the pharmacy. Surely you are joking about plugging with a funnel?? That is absolutely NOT going to work. What would you do, stand on your head?

This isn't do-able in the way you would like it to be.

Some of us are flexible ;)

As we can only speculate as to the rate at which your rectum will break down a gel capsule and then absorb said medication within, and I'm not seeing any harm reductive questions in this, I'm going to go ahead and close this. PM any questions.
