Gotta love winning the set lists :) Takes integrity.

I'm going to see Kishi Bashi the beat boxing violin loopin' awesome asian man. He toured with of Montreal both opening and playing with them in the past. It was pretty cool. I'm looking forward to seeing his efforts as a headliner.

ok kids, gather around and i will tell you a story.

early in that show, booker t says, if you have a question, feel free to ask it.

i had nothing worthwhile on tap to ask.

towards the end of the show he plays dock of the bay (remember, he played piano on the original cut)

so i ask if it was true that otis (like he was my friend!) meant to write more lyrics and that's why the whistle part is there.

booker t deliberately stepped forward so he was off microphone and said to me

shit, if he wanted anyone else to hear it he would have said it into the microphone.

Saw Squarepusher at the Metro in Chicago this past November. Awesome show. Acid Mother's Temple is playing at the Empty Bottle April 12th, and Sigur Ros+Oneohtrix Point Never (!) is playing April 2nd at UIC Pavillion. This is going to be a busy spring. :)

I got to see The Offspring last Friday night in Sydney..
They were doing an 'Ignition' tour, so they busted out a crapload of classics =D

Of course ;)
Don't take it to heart. I've enjoyed some of their songs. It's just you left it wide open there, lol.

No offence taken :)

TBH I'm relatively new to them but have read some interesting reviews of their live performances. When I had the opp to buy tickets I thought it was one to experience.

I went to see MBV at the Hammersmith Apollo the other night, having seen them back in the day and then a few years ago at the Roundhouse. Stuck up in the gods all of the intensity of their performance was lost and I ended up thinking it was disappointing.
