As someone who works in politics, this show is a godsend.

I dont even watch TV but this TV show is the personification of american politics.

netflix is a webstreaming (ship dvd rental to your door originally) company, that is now producing its own content using the HBO biz model of movie quality serial tv (Oz, Sopranos, Wire)

Ah, but Sorkin already did The West Wing and now The Newsroom, he made two shows out of one. ;)

I just started watching this today. I think I'm going to like it. A lot. Anytime they let Kevin Spacey loose with a southern accent, I'm all atwitter. And, the girl Zoe is from American Horror Story.

I like this breaking of the 4th wall that's going on in this and House of Lies too. It's fun.
 
I love the monologuing that Spacey does periodically throughout the show, awesome.
 
I started watching it the other day. I love how they released it (good marketing based on their audience), and over all it is of very high quality.

I think i watched the entire season in one day.. i loved it! Kevin Spacey as always is a pleasure to watch.. i usually dont follow politics but i can't help but find the show so interesting, i love the manipulation and power elements :)

Yeah I did 5 episodes last night, reckon I'll knock the rest over tonight. Eminently satisfying TV.
 
I enjoyed this alot more than I than I thought I would. I'd gone off spacey, but he was an exception in this.
 
Kate Mara is good, really good. She has a very sudden face.
 
My lady and I finished sopranos 8 monthd ago breaking bad awhile ago just finished sons of anarchy bout 3 weeks ago already did 24 twice we read what house of cards was about but haven't actually started watching it yet.

Might have to start it this weekend. Is there a show comparable to this one just so I can get a feel for how this one is?
