Hi I feel like I am falling into an unkown hole. No one in my soscial group uses cocaine andI have no one to share my experience with . I have started using very regularly. I am loving the experience but also worried and exhausted. How much is too much before its disfunctional? What do you do to calm down and when do you know its gone too far in your behaviour. Any feedback or stories will help me. i work full time and have a conservative group of friends. I go out allot but quite neurotic and shy so it helps me experience life but i am going through two grams a week now. Please private message me or share your thoughts or feedback. Thank you
 
meditation - simple guides can be found on the internet; perhaps the most simple is to close your eyes and focus simply and just on your breath as it makes its way down into your belly, then back up. Also, magnesium, melatonin, 5-htp, and EXERCISE might help. Please cut down your usage too.
 
If you think you're overdoing it, you probably are. We don't know you so it's hard to tell you if you're becoming addicted or "dysfunctional". But if you're even worried about it, it's probably time to cut back/stop.
 
The fact that you're concerned enough to come here and post this question is a pretty good sign that you are on a bad and dangerous path. Everyone has their own individual line when it comes to crossing over into addiction.. but everyday use, hiding it from friends, worrying about the possibility of taking it too far, are all steps on the road to addiction.

Try taking a break or at least cutting down..

With drugs like coke, any form of regular use is dysfunctional. Any addiction to coke, no matter how "small" is too much.

I'm not saying ur going to start stealling caar radios to support your habit, just that being addicted or dependant whatsoever is bad in and of itself when it comes to coke. There is just nowhere good that this will lead to. Either you continue using indefinately until something bad happens--arrested, loose job, health risk, etc.. Or you quit altogether. Those are the ONLY two paths with this drug. So you might as well quit while you can, take it from someone with experience
 
How are you getting the coke? The fact that none of your friends do it should make it easier to stop. Is it possible to cut yourself off from the source? It may sound obvious, but if you don't buy it, then there's none around to do when you have a drink and your willpower weakens.

I certainly felt the pull of meph for a while, doing 1g every weekend for a couple of years. It being banned certainly help me cut down and eventually pretty much stop, but my point is the desire can be reduced after a few weeks of a clear head. Are you doing it out or while home alone? Another thing that's pulled me away from meph is taking up exercise - I'd mostly rather get up on a Saturday morning and go running than stay up all Friday night on meph. If you manage to get a few weekends away from a drug, you can start to analyse the whole experience - you realise that as well as starting the week on an awful comedown, you'll probably be unpleasantly antsy at work on Friday(as you look forward to racking up that 1st line) and the drug experience rather than 100% good might involve paranoia, etc. It might be easier to think in terms of one week at a time or allowing yourself a 'treat' once a month rather than quitting altogether.
 
If you're only doing 2 grams a week you're fine thats totally normal for somone just looking to have a good time. Its the whole taboo of drugs like coke that make people feel bad about thier habit or think they're doing too much when its casual use at best.
 
2 grams a week is not a lot, so if you're experiencing problems at that level imagine what life would be like at 3.5 grams a night, I've been there and thats how I stopped. eventually it loses all of it's mystique and you either quit and get your shit together or it takes you to the grave. cocaine addiction is some of the most serious shit I've encountered in my drug use, so be thankful you are getting sick of it now while it hasn't gotten out of hand.
 
Yea but from what she says, she works full time and is loving the experience, it seems the concern is coming from other people, her conservative friends not her, it seems like its the somewhat negative reputation cocaine has with the general public who dosent us it, is whats making her question her activities. If you have enough self control to make 2 grams last a week theres really not much to worry about.
 
cokes baaaad. I used to hoover through a gram a day for like three months. And i wasn't snorting the shit. No good, try stop if you can it ends up getting real fucked up
 
For me i always use the comedown as a motivation to stop. The downers are my problem (or used to be) because many of them have a mild come down.
 
take a 30 day break, and during that time reassess your motive and intentions behind using cocaine. really try to get to know yourself better and try to come to a conclusion as to why you use, how much is too much, why you use everyday, ect...

anything less than 30 days isnt enough time to clear your head, so do yourself a favor and take the next month to be sober and work on yourself. im not saying to stay sober forever, but im suggesting that you take a step back and try to comprehend and internalize your actions.

if you want to use coke after those 30 days, then be my guest, but hopefully after the 30 days you will realize that using is not something to be taken lightly, especially when you are using cocaine everyday. hopefully you will have gained a little more self control to use only on friday nights or something...either way daily use isnt acceptable for living a healthy life.
 
^ Any amount of drug use that causes concern is too much. Just because you were doing a larger amount doesn't mean anything whatsoever.

It means that what ever problems he has now would most likely be multiplied if he increased his use. the point isn't to make him feel like he's not using enough to warrant taking a step back and attempting to quit, it's to show him that if he's having second thoughts or problems with his use the deeper he gets the harder it will be to stop. I didn't mean to sound like I was downplaying his use of coke or dicksize my dosages, I'm just trying to point out that things will get a hell of a lot worse if he keeps taking it.

2 grams a week sounds like a lot to me. You are looking at this through the eyes of someone who obviously has used larger amounts for extended periods of time, which is the wrong view.

Think of this from the view of someone who doesn't use cocaine. 2 grams a week sounds like everyday usage to me. While the daily usage may not be incredibly high, daily usage itself is dangerous enough. It's cocaine, well known to be the hardest stimulant on your heart and cardiovascular system. It's not something to fuck around with honestly.

Reassess your situation. You are already on the path to addiction, if not already addicted. The fact that you're here asking already says a lot about your problem.
 
This is insane, the amount of grief given to someone coming here for true advice... That amount is small, very small ,& the fact that your voicing it is huge. Just chill on the subject. The more u stress about the amounts the more u will do. Your normal, we love u.
 
Stop before it's too late!

If you do use, MAKE SURE YOU USE SALINE NASAL SPRAY OR NETI POT to clean that junk out a few hours after your last line.
If you don't it will definitely do more damage that can be prevented by.

Make sure you break it down to powder but not dust like powder.

Don't snort too hard, just a strong enough suck to get all the stuff in to your nose and not fall out.

If you snort too hard you will swallow most of it.


Don't do line after line after line. You are just wasting it and damaging your nose more.
 
Don't depend on it to fix your shyness or whatever ... Depending on a high is how you get addicted and raise your tolerance ..

that said I worked 12 hours a day 6 days a week and Black Friday 24 hrs (all under the table for a dumb boss) and I usually would just get high instead and get my $100 plus a day(yeah sucked ) ...

so I moved product ..did tons of white got a ball a day between me and my friend and then a ball at like 6-8pm for more and to start the next day ...

that and energy drinks , no breakfast/lunch or dinner and adderall XR 20mgs is how I did that lol (prescribed adderall) ...

^ I was extremely unhealthy but I was aware of it all ..and never had a problem ...job was finally taken away (mall kiosk..literally taken away ) when my bosses didn't pay 2 months rent plus fines lol ..

when I lost my job I didn't touch it again ...I love it but I know what I'm doing with it and when I use it ..how to get the most joy out of it (chilled with friends that worked near by for fun I didn't much just laughs lol) ..

if you need it to get threw a couple hours to talk ..just know that you NEED it and try those same things without it ..if you can do it without it then don't worry ..

if you stop and after 5-8 days it's all you think about ..you may need a hobby and stop doing the hangouts for a bit to avoid temptation (its not your friends but it's the situation ) ..

after 1 month you either will notice "oh ok I like coke but I don't RELY on it " or "oh sh1t I need it bc I depended on it to get me threw a social situation "

you our sound fine ...but breaks never hurt when you can and save money

Agreed. That's the best advice I've read so far, IF, and ONLY IF, you plan to continue to use it. 2 grams per week is not an insane amount, but it's definitely becoming habitual and a sign of dependence, and may continue to increase if you don't take a break. Coke is really hard on the body. Some drugs are not so tortuous to your organs and can be used, abused, and absolutely pummeled on a daily basis for many years with minimal long term damage. Coke is not one of those drugs. You must take breaks, get rest, eat, sleep, let your body heal itself, enjoy the time off, then if you wanna get funky again in a few weeks or months, by all means do your thing.

It's good to come here for advice though. People here at bluelight know their shit. You'll see I only have a few posts to my name right now, but I've been a bluelighter for many years now, just switched accounts today actually. This place has saved my life and directed me in the right path numerous times. Always good to have your doubts and do your research thoroughly.
