I am now a trained indoor belay climber!

Unfortunately my pal who came with me is a bit of a wuss and I don't know if or how often he'll be willing to join me again. There needs to be two of you, one to do the belaying and one to climb.

So anyone in the Edinburgh area who wants to "buddy up" some time let me know. Ceres (no onesies allowed)? Urbain?
 
If Spade can show me his safety credentials and I get pissed up first then I might, with a helmet and padding, be willing to let him hold the rope.

But I'll only go just above head height.
