omg how do i make a post or thread? i am desperate for answers please. i have already registerd. you would think create a thread or post would be on top but i guess that would be to easy
 
you start a thread by clicking on the new thread button. you already seem to have figured out how to post.
 
New user unable to get my activation email; it is a Gmail address; I waited a few minutes after signing up to check my email, both inbox and spam, then waited another minute before asking the forum to resend the activation email. Waited another 3 or 4 minutes, but still nothing in my inbox or spam folder :( Does it generally take longer than 5 minutes for any reason? Thanks for anyone's assistance :)
 
I keep getting message that I cannot post and I have resent the request for Activation Code at least a dozen if not more times..I have looked in my "Spam " folder as well as the "INBOX" and nothing,without the activation code I cannot post anything :(
 
Oh and another thing how do I upload my pic..it asks to write a link to my photo,,wow do I feel dumb now..and I am by no means a novice to computers but what the deuce?? :\
 
^ we don't host the picture for you so your image file needs to already be on the web somewhere. if you don't already have it hosted online, consider uploading it to a free image hosting service like tinypic or photobucket.

It should be there by now. Post here if it still hasn't come and an administrator will try to assist you.

Btw, Re: your location - "Upstate" is going to mean something different to each person living in a different state, so if you want people to have a general idea of your location then you should include the state. People from all over the world visit this forum, and even the people from the US probably won't know what state you are referring to with your location.

if you still can't find it, send an email to [email protected] from the email address on file for 'NicotineSomething', i'll activate you manually.

I'm waiting over a week for activation email, requested several times for it, and still nothing. I'm 100% sure that email is valid, no mistake at my end. Can someone please send it to me manually or something.. :(

it's almost certainly in your spam folder (many email users don't even know they have a spam folder or where to find it...). it's also possible your isp is blocking it.
