Hydroxyzine vs Promethazine

Cyclizine is not available in Canada at all anymore either OTC or by prescription. Too bad to because Ive heard that the methadone+cyclizine combo was really popular in the UK as a replacement for Diconal which was a combination of the strong methadone related opioid Dipipanone as well as the anti-histamine cyclizine all in one tablet. According to older UK junkies and what Ive read online these pills where the holy grail of opioids. Of course being as much fun and sought after as they where and the damage done by IVing these pills they had to be taken off the market although i think Diconal may still be used in very rare circumstances in the UK. I could be wrong on that though.

Pheniramine is another anti-histamine that i have found to work good for potentiating opioids. Ive only seen it available in Canada in cough and cold combinations such as neo-citron but holy shit did it ever add to the nod when taken with morphine. So that's another one worth trying in my opinion.

Is it chlorpheniramine or just pheniramine.

Hehe, Neo-Citran. My mom used to make me those barely drinkable cups of neo-citran when i was a kid. I blame dxm feeling like childhood fever and the hands like balloons (I had that feeling even before hearing the pink floyd song, honest) on that stuff. The dxm in the powder was what probably made me really hate drinking it. It smelled like Mr.Clean too.

It's Pheniramine. Yeah my mom used to always give me 2 packets of neo-citron in hot water for the flu. I actually liked the feeling of it because i was a ball of nerves even back then so te sedative effect was quite nice. I always found Pheniramine to be quite drowsy and it is good for potentiating opiates.

I had that comfortably numb feeling long before i heard that pink floyd song too. I used to get migraines alot as a kid and the doctor would always give me a shot of Demerol+Gravol or sometimes give me the Demerol tablets to take with Gravol. Back when i had no tolerance a shot of Demerol and Gravol would have me floating rather nicely =D . One time when i had a really really bad migraine the doctor gave me a IV shot of something like Demerol or morphine. Probably morphine as they rarely give Demerol by IV unless it's through a slow drip. I was maybe 10 at the time but i remember standing up and going to walk out to the car but i was falling all over the place laughing. I remember the doctor saying "he's not going to feel any pain for a few hours anyway" lol =D . I can remember my mom and grandma giving me Tylenol#3's or Demerol with Gravol when id get migraines and i remember how the pain would melt away into this sense of total contentment. So yeah if you have little to no tolerance Demerol+dimenhydrinate is a rather fun mix. Demerol is way more spacey then other opioids due to it's unique and toxic properties but it can be fun. Too bad it doesn't stop morphine withdrawal :p

I think the answer to this has been covered well enough. At this point it's just turning into more random drug talk. This isn't really appropriate for a thread in BDD so I'm going to close it. PM any questions.

If there is more you would like to discuss that is still within the bounds of the rules, feel free to do it in the social.
