well the wait is over and im sat at home after chatting normally with 'er indoorrs ...
SHE DIDN'T FIND IT fuck knows how it got to where it was but got a bonus 1/2 g as well. I must have been holding it thats all I think and it just fell out my hand when i got in the bed - thats why i always put my stuff in the same x3 places so i never lose anything unless im a cunt on blues and lose the pot.

It's a horrible feeling when you think someone is on to you, I can imagine the scene..blondin being nice as pie when mrs b walks in, cup of coffee made, "how's your day been at work love?". And then the sheer relief after reading her face for a few seconds as she answers him.

I'm raging at the moment. Because Gordon Brown "allegedly" spent all the money, drug services in Birmingham will be funded by Birmingham shitty Council. They have no money either. My dw yesterday had the discussion of "kicking me off my script" by the end of march (before the new financial year) they have also kept me on supervised and refused to up me back to 20 ml.
It's not fair. I am not a criminal nor am I a child.
on my list for improving drug treatment :drug workers must remind their service users that they do not need to feel ashamed and do not need to be shamed .
there is more ranting to be done , latre though. i have to go to work.

I kicked off with my key worker, cos I told them I'd had a toot (they think I've not had owt for months), and they put me on fortnightly script pick up. I was on monthly. So I argued that in future I should lie to them and tell them everything is rosy.

back once again with the renegade sound wave.
I missed my pick up due to illness, birth and death in the family. The dw puts me on supervised daily for a week. she also tells me my target is to be out of treatment by the end of march. she also knows that i use heroin "once or twice a week" as a dw they should know we often underestimate our use. I am still on supervised. I went to tell her i will have a problem on tuesday becuase of the funeral. she suggests putting px in chemist near to the funeral businesses. (no where near where i live and could go on a daily basis) then she suggests the chemist nearer to me that isn't the one i normally use. I say no- due to there being someone I vaguely know works in there that i don't want to know about my px. she says "ah well all the more reason to come off the meths early then"
will tell her next time that though i have nothing to be ashamed of re: heroin/methadone use she should be reminding me that i have nout to be ashamed of. or something like that.

the drug teams all over are coming up with shit to us/the clients about getting people clean by so and so date,and fucking about with peoples pick ups,for years they give out meds by the bucket, and now every one is told.... thing's are changing.
very few people use there scrip correctly, and even the few that do fuck up now and again,and now after years of suffering all the old bollocks every week, the drug teams think they can change our behaviour over night....?

@pink...Id want to slap the stupid fucker up and down the street. Who the fuck is she to tell you "all the more reason to come off it", what in a fuckin week!!!! Anyone would think the cost of your treatment comes out of her pocket. The way people get treated now who go into treatment never fails to make my blood boil.
At my clinic I've got the reputation as a arkward cunt, I've changed key workers umpteen times when theyve tried to push me, I just wont take it, and the manageress of the place hates me (shes one uptight bitch who needs pinning down and have a habit forced on her). The only key workers who are ok IMO are the older (50+) ex junkies, they have been through the old system and appriciate what a fuck up these new cold business are!

Unfortunatly if he does and you have to pay for your script its £7.65 down the swanee again. Alterntivley just get gear and miss that days pick up, Im 99% sure on a blue script you can miss 3 times each script before you get bubbled to the clinic. But the shit thing about daily supervised is they will want to piss test you every time before they will alter the scripts pick up regime.

I have managed to stash around 50mg of subutex (doesn't sound a lot but I have got myself down to coping on around 2mg a day) and have made a vow to taper and get off it well before my son is born in April; which, on the face of it, shouldn't be too difficult really.
I don't know why I'm so shocked at yours and others situation pinky but I am, maybe I am gullible and a bit naive but I sure as shit ain't staying in the pick up game any longer than I have to, it's horrible, it's demeaning and soul destroying YET life saving????

Annual DDN User Involvement Conference. 400-500ish Drug users and workers from all all over the country gather to hear guest speakers from the UK and abroad and discuss all matters Drug, Policy and Treatment.
In theory, if you're in receipt of a script in the UK, you should know all about this and, how, as part of their contractual obligations, your local dsp (clinic) should submit the names of users who want to attend to theirDAT, which in turn will fund admission and travel costs as far as budgeting considerations permit.
Practice is, of course, rather different. Sounds like the posters above, even those from the Midlands, haven't heard of it. But, if you live within striking distance of the venue, the volunteers from DDN are great peeps. If you call after 3pm and it's clear you're genuine, they'll answer your questions without accreditation and do their best to show you around. At very worst, you'll get the literature, the information and the phone numbers and know what to do next time around. Communication is the name of the game and it's up to you if you think it's worth it. Oh, yes.
Details of programme, with full timing, etc, can be found via links to DDN (Drugs'n'Drink News'), which in turn will link you to otherparticipating user groups. If you want greater script sanity, it helps to know what's going on

A visit to the local A+E has gotten me raging again, the mrs thinks im becoming obscessed...A guy was wheeled in, covered in puke, shite coming from the bottom of his pants and reeking of ale (obviously the shite overpowered the ale, but you get the jist..). A teenage girl then came in, walking alonside her mother who was in a wheelchair after been found comatose in the house. This was just 2 of the lot we saw whilst waiting to be seen..

They're organised in the politics of it all; you're probably not (what other patient group needs to be?) and expect this is enough to bring a bunch of dumb junkies to heel.
