i would just like to let you all know that i am going to try mdma this weekend. i have tested it with a friends test kit and it is not laced. the reason for such high dose is to get the full experience and then some. i weigh 150 lbs. i will be sure to tune in and let you all know how it goes plus stay hydrated and avoid panic .

If you are on antidepressants you should NOT be taking MDMA, even if you have good stuff you will not feel it. Not to mention going off of your medication so you can take a drug is not safe, and to do so without inducing withdrawals requires you to slowly taper off of the drug first.
250 is a recklessly high dose as well. I take 150mg and 100mg as a booster an hour or two later and it DESTROYS me, there is not much need for anymore than that at once... but even if you were to take that 250mg while on ADs you most likely would not feel it at all.

Yeah, that's why I always drive double the speed limit, so I can get to work on time and then some.
conventional wisdom suggests that you may beed to stop taking anti-depressants months before you plan to take mdma to notice the effect - 4 or 5 days is not going to make any difference.

ssri's work on your brain chemistry in such a way that they explicitly prevent mdma doing what it needs to do. you can't solve this problem by just taking a larger dose of mdma. if you are determined to do this, you'll simply be wasting mdma for no result.
as with most things in life, if you choose not to learn this lesson the easy way, you'll learn it the hard way which is, for many people, the only way they can learn...

my mate stopped taking anti-depressants and he still didn't feel MD about a month later.
maybe it was poor quality. or scam.
No it was legit MDMA. He'd been on them for like a year and just went straight off them had about a week of withdrawals and then 1 month later he did shit loads but nothing happened to him really.
or maybe he just got off a drug that explicitly prevents mdma doing what it does. maybe that.

dman000, there was a thread in the forum recently asking the very same question. unfortunately, the poster deleted that thread but, in summary, he was in a similar situation to you. lots of people warned him not to do it. but he did.

tl;dr is he took 3 and a half times the 'normal' dose of mdma and felt nothing. complete waste. may as well have flushed it down the toilet...

Just take the hint and don't do it. You're on this forum which suggests that you're not entirely sure of what you're doing. The replies from previous posters have confirmed your suspicions that something may be wrong and that you should not take MDMA. You can either A) Ignore the advice hoping that for you 'it will be different.' Just like many have and take a dangerous risk. B) Follow the advice given to you from informed posters with more knowledge and experience than yourself.
I respect that not taking MDMA is a very hard decision to make but you have to realise that the chances are that it won't work anyway. Its far more safer and enjoyable to wait for a time when you're off SSRI's and in a stable psychological head space.
If you do decide to take it then I wish you the best of luck regardless.
