can I have one reply pls?
I am 21 year old,I have been smoking for about three years from 16 to 19,I enjoyed the effect alot,I used it kinda like weed,to enjoy music,to feel high not just everyday habit

I never smoked alot but as I got older the harsh smoke was becoming bigger and bigger problem and about year back it hit a peak and I cant enjoy smoking anymore,I cant have single cig becose it taste like giving blow job to exhaust on one of these smoking wreck cars from 80s

so the normal cigs are out of the game for me,never tried chewing tabac, dont plan to use it but I was always fan of electronic cigarets,I love vaporizers and this is just that,I didnt smoked properly for two years but today when shopping I saw large new regal for e cigs only, many flavors and couple models, very affordable

I currently dont use any drug, little black tea,or sip of coffey and thats it.... the inner desire to get high was strong as i checked that regal

I live very unhealthy life with very small moving around and shitty diet,I am not skinny or fat atleast.I know the cigs = cardiac arrest.... my grandmother lifelong smoker had one I know that shit is bad,the question is,whats health effects of ocasional e cig use? like three times a day??

Electronic cigarretes are a nearly non-toxic, good alternative to using tobacco cigarretes if your already smoking them. If your not already smoking tobacco, then ask yourself: why would I get into a substance that provides very little reinforcement and is highly addictive. If you weigh the pros and cons there's really not much at all in the corner of the pros.

Most people get into tobacco during their adolescent years to deal with the hormonal changes or as a result of peer pressure, if your not at that stage of your life I would highly reconsider getting into a substance that some studies claim is more difficult to get off than heroin, and will provide you no joy at all. Any person who's been smoking a while will tell you they smoke because they need to, and not because they want to.

Also, try and be patient for a reply, if someone has an answer to your question, I'm sure they'll chime in.

well thats good post, good train of tought

but i must say I have natural resistance to nicotine addiction... ( wait till the the laughing audience calm down ) I smoked for three years and never really developed addiction,I am addicted more to weed than nicotine.... I smoked on average three cigarettes a day,so the addiction problem isnt there for me

Well a lot of smokers could argue the same thing. The first 2-3 years I was smoking, I never bought a pack, I hated how it tasted and made me smell. I was smoking at parties, with friends, in the school bathroom, etc. It wasn't nearly as much of a high as it was a rush, because it wasn't allowed by my parents, and obviously my school. It's like when your cheating on your girlfriend and you think to yourself, sneaking around was half the fun.

Sooner or later that phase passes into something more habitual (psychological dependence), and then addiction. You start buying a pack every day, or a carton every ten. With anything that's nicotine related, you run the risk of this happening. I had friends back in school that refused to smoke cigarretes but would only smoke sheesha claiming they could never get addicted to it. After all they had to smoke it in a restaurant or coffee shop. It wasn't until years later that I discovered that one of them died from coronary, cause he had set one up at home, and was sucking on it every night to relax. Mind you this was a 24 year old athlete who studied sport science.

Some might not agree with this but personally, I would trade my nicotine addiction for any addictions excluding GABAergics.

well after reading this I decided to not use them... if you say you wasnt addicted for three years but then latter it changed I dont want to go that road.... thanks for warning have a nice day :)

I am a pack/pack and a half a day smoker. I have switched to e cigs and they have helped improve my health greatly, however I still smoke up to four real cigs a day(I think I am psychologically addicted to real cigs). But I hope to quit real smokes in the next three weeks. I have two kids and one more in the wife's uterus, lol. Smoking is not setting the right example for my kids.

E-cigs are great for quitting.. or even if you want to just use them as a permanent alternative. I used them to quit smoking and still use them occasionally when I drink or have coffee or something.

E-Cigs are a great alternative to regular cigarettes. The only thing you are getting our of an electronic cigarette is the nicotine and water (vapor) In regular cigarettes you are exposed to tar, carcinogens and other hazardous chemicals. Electronic cigarettes give you the option to get your nicotine fix by inhaling like a regular cigarette but without all the harmful effects of smoking a real cigarette, I actually work for a distributor of electronic cigarettes so i know quite a bit about them, because you are only getting the nicotine and no other chemicals when you use an e-cig, you wont have to worry about the harsh smoke and lung problems you mentioned in your post. Nicotine in itself isn't a harmful chemical, (its about as harmful as caffeine is, both are stimulants and both have that slightly addictive quality to them, but that's what is so cool about e cigs they only have that one chemical in them so you arent going to get addicted to anytihng other than the nicotine, not the tar and other chemicals that are in cigarettes. so yeah, you should try it, its much cleaner and a lot better than smoking a real cigarette, if you have any questions about it, just let me know and i can help you pick a good brand or answer any other questions you might have, i consider myself and expert in the e cigarette field. Hope this helps.

I've posted about my success with them. if your interestd in the product I've used since I quit 18 months ago let me know. you want to be careful because there are a lot of scams out there, so do your research. if you get a good product you may enjoy it more than cigarettes which is what happened to me.

Personally I love my E-cig but I sometimes end up puffing on it way too much because of how convenient it is. I've been trying to reduce my nicotine intake the past couple months but it's a rough path. I managed to go down to a pack every three days then literally one day I smoked a full pack and it's back to a pack (or more) a day. /sigh :|

The effects of an e-cig 3 times a day are the same as consuming any similar amount of nicotine per day. The difference is it is not bad for your lungs in terms of smoke (there might be indirect effects due to vasoconstriction). So however much nicotine is in the amount of e-cigs you smoke would tell you what its equal to in cigarettes, or nicorette, etc.

correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't nicotine itself cause cancer (carcinogenic)? Either way i want to switch to ecigs so if you can recommend the best brand that would be great.

E-cigarettes are great, but I recommend you look up reviews on whichever ones you decide to buy. I bought a disposable one that claimed to last 40 cigarettes - it lasted me 6 hours. I'm not even on a 20 a day habit, yet I finished that e-cigarette extremely quick.

Although they are safer, remember you are still using nicotine. It has a higher toxicity than cocaine, about 0.5-1.0mg per kg of body weight (whereas cocaine is about 95.0mg per kg of body weight).

Nicotine itself isn't regarded as a carcinogen.

FYI I am real person, I'm not selling anything nor am I a scammer, just thought to mention that considering after my last post the next person said to be careful about scams... kinda made me feel like that was directed to my post. If it wasn't than that is cool too. I just want to helpl I'm good at helping.

My two favorite brands are Gamucci or Blu. You can get the Blu brand at Walgreens I believe. I would try a disposable one first to see if you like that brand, If you like the disposable by the brand you choose, than you are sure to like the rechargeable version. That is what I found with my experience.

Sorry if it read that way, the first part wasn't directed at you. :P I bought mines in a petrol station on the way between two towns without looking up what it was like, most people use the rechargeable/refillable ones too.

I love my provari. I havent smoked for two years.

ECF, Ecigforum will have all the info you need.

I wouldnt go for the best of the best right away, like my provari(one of the best five products out there) But I would go for a varibal voltage 510 box mod, a jtank, some laser punched j tank cartos, and a few diff flavor liqs. Look up on youtube how to fill cartos.

VV or Varible wattage is the way to go, not the standard BLU ecigs, or even joye/janty products.

So true. Don't get into nicotine/tobacco if you aren't already into it, and if you are, consider quitting or using ecigs to quit.

A lil off topic here but has anyone here tried the nicotine pills/mints/gum that was strictly a smoker(not chewing tobacco)? Do they make you down right nauseous as well? I have found the only way I can intake nicotine is subdermaly or inhalation, other methods make me feel like puking and like I have horrible heartburn.
