haha @ the penis.
for some reason the bites that I have stay itchy for ages too ... keep waking me in the middle of the night, despite lathering them with benadryl.
My rooms are pretty minimal so I could easily do the flea bomb thing or spray ... think I'll spray before any whippets take residence then. The bomb thing seems waaay too messy in that it sticks to everything. the residual flea issue isn't a huge issue, but I didn't know about the 3 yr dormancy of larvae, so it's probably necessary. Gonna replace my sofa where she used to sleep in the next few months anyway so that should crack the main problem.
Just been looking at various dog rehoming sites again. whippets are crossed with so many other dogs, it's bizarre. Staffies, salukis ...
this one looks like a handsome fella - an English Bull Terrier cross Whippet...
I wouldn't want to keep one because I'd rather stick with one as near to a whippet as possible until I know the breed from experience. But from what I've been reading, whippets are more often than not always crossed, and it's virtually impossible to identify whether its just a whippet? In that case I think I'll be better off with either a whippet/lurcher cross or whippet/greyhound cross?
also, these guys look a lovely pair.
I'm not going to adopt until I've made a start on a few things I've been putting off .. financial, organisational .. usual avoidance stuff ... cause I'll just pour all my attention into my new buddy as an avoidance tactic. great for the dog, but not for getting shit moving forward. It's an incentive to get things moving anyways.
