Watched Footnote last night:
It's about a father and son who are both professors of Talmudic studies (the Talmud is a text of Rabbinic Judaism (I had to look it up), and yes this film is in Hebrew so you'll need subtitles). The son has been chosen to receive a prestigious award for his scholarship, but a bureaucratic blunder leads the father - who's been (unfairly, in his view) overlooked for years - to believe the prize is going to him.
That might sound dull but it's not, it's fast-paced, funny and engaging and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
