Police say three teens charged in the fatal shooting of a western Pennsylvania woman targeted her after she told them to "get a job" when she saw them trying to bum a cigarette off her boyfriend.

Beaver Falls police have charged 14-year-olds Todavia Cleckley and Marcus Velasquez and Kyle Goosby Jr., 13, with criminal homicide and other charges in Saturday's shooting of Kayla Peterson, 22. She was shot at about 3:30 p.m. that day and died in a Pittsburgh hospital two hours later.

Goosby is in custody and his attorney says he was just "in the wrong place at the wrong time" when Velasquez -- identified as the gunman by police and Peterson's boyfriend -- opened fire.

Beaver Falls Police Chief Charles Jones says officers are still searching for the other two suspects.

WHY DO WE NOT WAKE UP! This country is becoming a disaster zone! I am sick of all this violence. However, to defeat it now we have to fight fire with fire. Time to start putting these people straight to death (no matter the age). Once we have the violent acts down to a minimum then we can remove that law but this has stop. Something has to give.... innocent people should not be held prisioners to the guilty.

^The 13 year old cannot work, you have to be at least 14 to get a work permit, and even then their legal guardians will have to allow it, and they'd have to find someone who would hire them (unlikely). Even if they did do this, they would not legally be allowed to purchase tobacco.

And do you really think children not yet in, or just entering high school should have to work have a lil' spending money?
 
Yeah do some work, even if its for their parents and get some money, it's not up to some random to give hand outs.

For an offhand sarcastic comment? What do you think she should have done, asked them for id before she said it?

She wasnt a bitch, anyone might have said that to 'kids' asking for a cigarette. Doesn't mean she should get bashed, raped or KILLED over it. I dont agree with those facebook comments about them getting the death penalty, but they will no doubt goto jail, and in there they will only get worse and learn more crime, and probably do more bad shit to society later and keep thinking they should get shit for free. Even when they are over age.

Total idiots who don't deserve any sympathy in my books. Alot of people come from hard up families and shit and dont go around killing people over a comment like that.
 
I know plents of kids their age who do work for money, even if its not legal, some around here ask to do odd chores to get some spare cash. Good on them, I dont mind paying a 14 yr old to clean up my yard a bit and earn 20 buks.
