was that the case a couple years ago? the 2nd time i moved to FL (i've been bouncing between ma/fl a bit), i got "molly" and honestly couldn't tell wtf it was. was closer to speed than anything but definitely not speed. almost like 25% of the way into a proper roll, but taking hte 2nd pill didn't increase that effect it just made it speedier.
haven't touched any mdxx in fl since, because molly/unbranded stuff is all that's super common 'round here, and i'm def a "know my pills" person. rolling is too sacred to fuck around with bullshit

I live in florida. I was introduced to methylone by a friend in september of 2011. It was introduced as Molly (MDMA). I tried it and loved it ( It was very similar to x pills I had done in previous years). I later learned about research chemicals a figured out this was methylone. I start buying 8 balls (3.5 grams) at a time and buy empty gel capsules and puts 2 tenths of a gram in each capsule, and resells each capsule for $20 a piece. I start makin pretty good money doing this.I sell to a "friend" that turned out to be a confidential informant. I start selling bigger quantities of the substance to a few people including the informant. Informant introduces me to his "friends" that are supposedly swingers and want the "molly" for there sex parties. I think that sounds cool and sell to them about 6 times over a period of 5 or 6 months. In march of 2012 I meet with the informant and his "friends" and sell them 1 oz (28 grams) of methylone. As I am counting $1600 the "customers" just paid me, a swat team rushes the car guns drawn, masks on and orders me out of the car. I am charged with trafficking MDMA and taken to jail. I was given a $250,000 bond. I am told I will get a minimum manditory of 3 years prison time. I sit in jail for 7 months going to court a few times. I am prepared to do the 3 years (after much suffering and struggling to accept my fate). I go to court and my lawyer got the trafficking charge reduced to posession because it was not real MDMA. I think my lucky stars and agree to 3 years of drug offender probation. I left jail and returned home after 7 months of jail. I am currently reporting to probation twice a month and in risk of prison time if I violate probation. Its a very dangerous game to play when selling any RC. Be careful, from somone who knows all too well how this goes......

it's a very dangerous game to sell psychoactive powder to ppl as "molly"/mdma (a schedI or II narcotic). it doesn't seem nearly as dangerous for alll the gas stations and sex shops moving cannabinoids (and bath salts in some areas)
/am actually surprised to hear you got the trafficking removed, as selling an ounce of methylone as molly would be trafficking mdma in every way legally IIRC.
im not sure if its the same in the us but in the uk if you are selling something as a drug you are charged with supply of said drug regardless of whether the drug is present in the substance you are selling.
imo this is a good thing as it makes selling bunk pills the same offence as selling the real macoy

I think the term "molly" leaves room to wiggle when it comes to what you sold it as. I never used the phrase "MDMA" only molly, wich is an un-official street name. Either way, the trafficking charge was dropped, and i am home now:D i heard a big importer in my area just got busted by the feds.. this bathsalt is pretty bad news for people thinkin they can make quick easy money.. oh well, it was fun while it lasted

a very reasonable argument can be made that someone being charged with trafficking can be assumed to know very well that molly is slang for raw mdma powder and nothing else ('molly' is a more specific slang term than even 'ecstasy', 'ecstasy' of course being enough to pass muster for "mdma" in a courtroom)

I got busted by the same CI as "molly capsules" but I wasn't even trying to sell anything.
I was into the NBOME series, which I would share freely. And I also proprely labeled things as such (IE: 25-i-NBOME Reagent test strips), along with a "warning not for human consumption" sticker. So the same asshole CI insisted on giving me money for these things. and when "Molly capsules" got busted I realized what had happened an cut off communication. So I didnt experience the same sort of swat treatment.
Instead, I get some cops at my house many months late who lied about why they were there to obtain permission from the owner to search the house. and then after they confiscated some stuff they took me outside and told me why they were really there. "Sale and possesion of LSD". But I never said that it was LSD or anything of the sort and never said it was for consumption.
I did everything in a legal way (as far as I can figure) and they are still trying to fuck me in the ass.
So I sat in jail for a few days and I thouht I would be in there for months like molly was......instead the judge reduced my bond to 1/10 of its orginal and a family member bailed me out
But now the snitch is harrassing me to the point that I developed some stress induced medical conditions. and my lawyer says hes on the verge of getting my case thrown out [fingers crossed]
and now i'm fixing to go to court in a few days and it turns out that I have the same judge too.......small world

/ppl have the responsibility of checking what they consume, and knowing what they purchase, so are responsible in a sense whether they get bunk stuff they trash or whether they eat the wrong thing. obviously there's more factors at play like think of dopeheads dropping dead of fentanyl RC's badly before and on occasion routinely.. scenarios that wouldn't exist were it not for prohibition, of course. but dealing with such things as 'molly' and/or 'china white' where something is purchased but nhot what it was expected, everyone has a hand in that failure from seller to buyer to the ppl who stand in the way of de-criminalizing drug usage
your trafficking charge probably dropped NOT because it wasn't mdxx, but because it sounds as if you only 'trafficked' to the undercovers (which, as a judge, i'd feel wasn't enough to raise you to 'trafficker' legally, not anymore than it'd be appropriate to elevate you to scarface and then blah blah). Your only saving gracde was your claim to ignorance through 'being introduced to it as' molly. but you say you found out, then got it and sold it in capsules (as molly is most commonly sold in many areas), and you sold it as molly. that's no different or better than stamping mde/caffeine/2ci pills adn selling it as E; arguably it's worse, because at least many do understand that "ecstasy"/="pure mdma pill", while "molly" is taken to mean raw mdma powder- as close to pure as chemoistry and/or light, inert cutting allowed; not mda, not "mdma+" blends, and certainly not methylone powder.

I understand what you mean. However i stood court in 2 seperate counties and both counties reduced the charge and gave me probation, proof of how the system works. They dont get into too many details unless you take it all the way to trial. I dont do trials, I plea out at a reasonable offer. Trafficking is defined by the amount you are involved with, 10 grams is trafficking level (not very much dope) even the oz i gave them was not alot of methylone considering the amount of stuff bought online from china. I honestly knew it as molly. when i made the call to my guy, I asked for molly. Molly is a nickname for mdma, i agree, however, methylone can just as easily be called molly (bk-MDMA). I didnt write the rules, I didnt invent the rc black market. I did participate in the trade, im paying the price. Anyone THAT worried about exactly what there getting has the responsibility of doing there homework, especially when somthing is sold under a nick name. you seem like an alright person, im not starting any online drama, im just telling you how i feel.

but i never lied about what they were getting. if anyone asked me, i would have told them the real name was methylone. noone ever asked, and everyone came back for more... i disagree about being part of any problem. i never forced anyone to buy anything and i never lied about anything.. i had somthing , i told my friends about it, i even gave free samples, and they always came back.. how am i this devil you guys make me out to be?
