Just been to chemist to collect my script.
I felt it was only right to compliment one of the female staff for getting into the spirit and joining in with MOvember.Such an impressive handlebar tache that she had,much better than anything I could hope to grow.
Well done to that woman.

will do, I'm guessing that's when I get to 50 posts, fair way to go! I wonder how well known it is that drugs are carried through royal mail on a frequent basis. I've never had anything go missing. Although one package was open - it still had the goods inside though. I was a bit sketched out about that, but at the end of the day it was just little bits of papaer. I'm not sure if they knew what they were looking at - whoever opened it.
 
Not really that frequent for me, just once in a while, and naah few beers and ramble on and you'l be at 50 posts in no time, i stopped lurking and posted abit more and now i'm friggin addicted lol. Itd be rc's that probably account for a % of all royal mail postings, i'm sure there's a few postes that'l nab a pack if they thought there were drugs in them. They're meant to me really harsh punishments on that though right? infringement of privacy and all
 
Earlier this year we had a plastic bag with some post for us in it along with a letter of apology from the Royal Mail. The letter basically explained that our postman had been caught out for not delivering all his mail and that they hoped it hadn't caused us any trouble etc.
Luckily the post for us that was included in the bag was just a couple of bank statements.

Strange to "guess" that correctly...

You don't need to wait for Bluelighter status to send PMs anymore. Maybe when you were previously a member you did, but not since the vBulletin update (unless they've changed it again recently).

Not many. It gets joked about constantly. That the postie will nick it. I don't think many posties want to risk jail just in case there might be something he wants in your jiffy bag.

I don't think I've ever had something not arrive when I know for a fact it's been posted in the first place (or at least highly trust that it's been posted). I've had stuff show up quite late & sometimes looking like it's been kicked around a sorting office for a week lol but I don't think I've once had something not show up that I could blame on Royal Mail.

A boy I know who was a postie quite a few years ago now used to stash Monday's post under his bed because he's have a stinking comedown with the intention of doing it later. Obviously he'd never do it later & next Monday would roll around where he'd do the same. They came to his house with cops & a warrant. Raided the place. I think he got away without a jail sentence because none of it was actually open.

oh the conspiracy theories! lol I though I read somewhere that you go bluelighter when you reach 50 posts., I've lurked for a while.

Well If I don't need to be a bluelighter I guess I'll test it out now.

Booooooored, ex can't come pick me up cos her husband has the car and I'm no way walking through the flood waters and whatnot to get there. Debating borrowing my sister's car to nip to the shop, though, but I dunno if I'd make it back before she gets home.
 
Yeah, we've got a fair bit of flooding around here. Cambridgeshire is a pretty flat county so we flood easily if we have loads of rain.
I think I saw on our regional news a day or two ago that a someone died in a village about 30mins away cos her car came off the road and went into the river that runs alongside the road.
