Super-Pills... Irresponsible? Waste of resources?

Hey ya'll, I'm sure you have seen me commenting around here and all over Bluelight. But I just wanted to get my fellow Bluelighters opinions, and thoughts about this new trend forming. These new pills coming out at an estimated 300mg is absolutely crazy. People in most parts of the world wouldn't mind a CLEAN 50mg pill. But my question is, do you think this is just a waste of resources? To pour all this into 1 single pill? Forget that, this is about harm reduction. Could you imagine if someone inexperienced took 2 of these because they didn't know any better? Are these producers doing more harm than good? The main ingredient comes from the bark of a tree we are tearing down at an alarming rate, so is this worth stuffing 2 sometimes 3 pills into 1?

This trend worries me, and I wanted to know if others thought this was EMAZING, or it is flat out dumb. I have been wondering this, so I really wanted your input.

Also- Mods if this is in the wrong section, please help me out and move me somewhere, otherwise I just want everyones input on this! Thanks guys. :D
 
good question.

i think having mdma legalised and manufacture strictly monitored/regulated would be the best outcome.

mdma consumption and use will never be eradicated. so why not make its use safer?

the danger with any kind of clandestine pill, whatever the dosage is the absolute absence of a) quality control and b) varified (trustworthy) dosage information.
300mg MDMA tablets are perfectly safe if people know that is what they contain.
the fluctuations in the market (weak/strong/PMA/piperazines/bunk) is the biggest danger in "ecstasy" use.

legalisation solves every one of these dangerous variables. prohibition allows them to thrive.
 
I wouldn't mind getting a 300mg pill because then I can break it into two 150mg pills which is ideal.

I like the idea of taking half a pill than to eat 3 or 4 pills in one night just to get the same effect. I like these pills being strong. It's convenient
 
Not really no, in fact it probally saves resources. Instead of having to use 2x as much binder, take up 2x as much space etc youve got everything in one little concentrated pill, saving the environment and all. But honestly 150mg is about the right dosage, so to split one in half is right. I dont know anyone who would sell these and not say they are strong or whatever. I mean who is going to double drop something that big, not in this day and age
 
300mg pills? name one please? i live in the netherlands where all these "superpills" come from, and the most i know are pills going MAX up to like 250mg. the main super's go from 180-230mg.
i dont think it's irresponsible cuz A) you can split it, and B) the pills-coming from the dutch- are being used responsibly by the dutch. the majority of people i know here do halves and sometimes do the other half. i think pills like these in the hands of, say, americans, would be very dangerous. you'd definitely have to reinforce the fact that these bad boys are STRONG.
 
Just split that pill in 2 and have a nice evening, cheaper, better?
 
Surely the cost of a 300mg pill would make people think twice about it before double dropping?
 
I have heard the new Skull pills were an estimated 310mg. When I say resources I am not talking about binder, I am talking about actual MDMA. If anyone has ever seen documentaries on MDMA producers, you know Safrole comes from remote parts of Asia where they are tearing down the forest for the bark from the tree. What my point was, we are putting 300mg of MDMA into 1 single pill, is that just too much resource? That was my point. Yes, I get you could break it in half, but not everyone is smart enough to think that way. I am happy the majority of you guys are, but remember how irresponsible and wreckless some people are. Thank you everyone for your input! :)
 
safrole can also be distilled from camphor laurel, which is a noxious weed in some parts.

i think there is bigger fish to fry on the world scale.

again, if mdma manufacture was strictly monitored and regulated...
 
As long as people KNOW what/how much it contains, there's no issue. You could break it into two (or three) doses...or not. But it could be dangerous for someone with no tolerance or on other drugs if they didn't know.
 
If it was regulated like a prescription for theraputic purposes that was only dispensed 200mg once every 3 months it would cut down from this PMA/Pipe bullshit that has become oh so common. Whatever though, try telling the fat cats that. You would think SOMETHING that could make them $$$ they would pounce on, but of course this "scene" is not relevant to them so they don't give a fuck. I haven't seen a decent press in California since that last batch of pokes came out earlier this year. Other than that, I had good Molly once, but I am too knowledgeable of this shit so I try to stay away since nothing is good anymore.
 
When I used to get clandestined pills I would split off a piece and take it first to see what it did to me. If it felt good I would do more. Not exactly accurate but it's better than downing a bunch of pills whose source is unknown.

who said anything about that, that would be going way overboard imo. i would be happy to be able to buy mdma the same as i can liquor, i mean you know your liquor hasn't been made in a bathtub with second rate ingredients don't you. obviously liquor manufacturers are aiming to maximise profit but there is strict guidelines and quality control in place.

i think you have missed the point. there is more money to be made while it is illegal mate, think about it.
 
That depends on how you judge the intelligence of others. To me, a pill ~= one dose, just by definition. If the dose was smaller, you would have a smaller amount in each pill.

Since we all know 300mg is way the fuck over the top, why? Its dangerous having single dosage units floating around that high, not everyone is going to know its 300mg, or take the effort/$/time to find out, same with nbome blotters @ 1mg+. Sure they can be used responsibly, but its not smart considering how people behave/think. Unless you believe in darwinism, in that case lets have 1g pills for all i care. I know its 1g, and 200+ mg is unsafe so i would grind it up and dose 1/5 the weight or less. But i can do exactly the same with pure powder. So to me, its just retarded. But i never liked pills anyway. Pure powders ftw, or nothing at all afaic.

My point being, single dosage units shoud be single dosage units for HR's sake. All it take is one mistake, someone thinking a superman dose of whatever is just a single dosage unit pill/blotter and taking a few expecting a fraction of what they just ingested. Its just stupid on the part of whoever is laying/pressing this stuff.
