I haven't seen the film (it's not movie, we're not American :p) but I do remember when it came out at the cinema I thought it might be worth a watch, never got round to it though and didn't realise it was based on a series.

I doubt that I would ever have heard of a Mooncup if it wasn't for being on Bluelight.
I'm not sure that it is something I would thank Bluelight for either.

nonsense! ... everyone should know about mooncups. there's nothing to lose from knowing about em!

I LOVE that loads more people here know about mooncups. Shambles can take the credit for this <3

they're healthier than stuffing bleached cotton up yer chuff, they last years and they're better for the environment.

All in all an ace little GashGadget™ © =D

I'm watching Sopranos repeats on Sky Atlantic. I wish it was on with some regularity though. It's on at random times every week and the episodes aren't shown in order plus sometimes I'll happen to catch it 2 weeks in a row and they're just repeating the previous weeks episode.

EDIT: Just realised I saw this episode earlier in the week! Grrr!

I love Sopranos too, it's amazing to see how much better they all got as actors from series 1 to the later series. Tony especially is much better in the latter.

I used to watch it years ago when I was at school but then lost interest and never really got back into it apart from the final series because my flat mate was mad about it, really want to see it from start to finish. Guess I'll need to download or get the box set.

if i recall a lot of people didnt like the way it ended. thought it was wicked

I didn't love it. Think I wanted an action packed ending but the way they did it leaves it open for another series or a film or something I guess. So not all bad.

A new episode of 'Homeland is on Ch.4 tonight at 9pm.
I'm really enjoying this series so far and the actress who plays Carrie does a very good job.
Would recommend watching it from the start if you are not already watching it.

I caught an episode during the week which was good but I've not seen the first couple of this series yet or most of the last one, just bits and pieces. I like it from what I've seen though.

been watching this for the last hour - Code-Breakers: Bletchley Park's Lost Heroes

Keeley Hawes narrates the story of how a 24-year-old maths student and a GPO engineer unravelled the secrets of Adolf Hitler's personal code machine - reputedly even more secure than the Enigma device. The duo's work played an important role in ending the conflict in Europe, but because of its classified nature and continued application during the Cold War, the two men were never officially recognised.

anyone watching? ... awesome stuff ... and an intro to the history of computer science too

watching this now: Rich Hall's Inventing the Indians

In his previous cultural treatises, comedian Rich Hall has been a lone wolf, howling in despair at the lack of profundity in American life. But here, as he tears into the misrepresentation of native Americans in film and literary works, he is joined by Dallas Goldtooth, a Lakota/Dine comedian, to help explain the complexities of Indian life.

This is a serious effort that strives to shine a light on the tragedy of the American Indian experience and give a voice to a forgotten people. But still there is room for Rich to bring his acerbic mix of weariness and indignation to hilarious swipes at everyone from John Ford and Richard Harris to Billy Connolly and Miley Cyrus.

About this programme

Comedian Rich Hall goes in search of the real American Indian, often stereotyped in popular culture. He explores a different idea of what life is like for the race today, with the help of native Dallas Goldtooth. He also questions the screen image of the `savage Indian' in films such as Soldier Blue, Stagecoach and A Man Called Horse, before visiting the Navajo Reservation in Arizona and Pine Ridge in South Dakota, home to many of today's natives.

I like Hall a lot. He's doing a stand-up job of slating Columbus and immitating the Irish

[edit]
haha, he's just called Miley Cyrus a 'disneyfied whore' for having a dreamcatcher tattooed on her torso and for being disrespectful ... I think he also said something like she needed 'an achey breaky jaw' for the crime

Generally people never like the way things end
I thought it was good the way they left it kind of open to people own interpretation.
Still my favorite series ever
