Opioids very, very strange..

okay, so a week or two ago i took 3 yellow 10mg norcos, expecting the normal hydrocodone high. this is not anywhere near what i got. after maybe.. an hour after ingestion, i start feeling very strange. my friend that was with me also took the same amount and we both felt the same thing. anyway, i start feeling.. idk how to describe it, i started hullucinating hardcore, open eye visuals. not like any lsd or mushrooms, completly different. so i lay down on the front steps of my house with my eyes open, and i see a man in a red flannel with a lawnmower mowing my concrete driveway. right in front of me. he then looks at me and waved. so stupidly i wave back, and he just continues to mow my fucking concrete. like wtf. im wondering if anyone knows what it could have been. i am expierenced with opiates as well. any thoughts?
 
Are you on any other meds? Antidepressants/ Antipsychotics? Anything unusual about you taking it that day, anything in your system that's usually not....break the whole situation down. Your friend was hallucinating as well?
 
are you very experienced with 10/325s? when what was printed on it, one way to tell not exactly sure fire but break it in half should be yellow all the way through, back when i was in highschool my friends was selling these yellow zoloft or something like that as 10's.... looked pretty similar but couldnt fool some one who has been around... you really cant fake that its a pressed pill....


i cant think of any reason an opiate would make you have visuals... i think there bogus...
 
no, there was nothing strange in my system. and im not on any meds. and yeah so was my friend. it was very strange. and yeah im experienced with them. they were definatly the yellow norcos. i felt the opiate feeling, they were the 10-325s forsure.
 
that is an odd reaction, to me at least you might find someone that it has happened to... doesn't sound likely... hallucinations are usually caused by dopamine over load, like crystal meth, MDMA.... but you say NO other meds no uppers? ok....

oh wow... yeah it wasnt cool, yeah im definatly gonna look that up. thanks guys, i appreciate it. the only thing that confuses me is it happened to my friend as well, so is it just a coincedince(spelled that wrong) that it happened to both of us, or do you think the pill was somehow bad?

wouldn't it be uncommon for 2 people on a somewhat lower dose of hydrocodone only,
to both experience hallucinations side by side tho..
or am i understanding wrong?

yea i agree very uncommon... i retracted my last statement... didn't realize i was search as if it were syrup, which will absolutely make u have visuals but not cuz the opiate but the cough meds... i apologize about the confusion

really think though, no meds of any kind with in a 24 hour period or alcohol anything? im not saying your lying or hiding it, it just doesnt cause that.... i forget shit i take or do sometimes

Yeh you sure your not in a psychotic episode of some sort mate? if your sure your friend was tripping balls (just the impression i got from your post) on opiates (and your 100% they were legit) somethings fishy

i definatly was not on any other substances. thats why this is so confusing. possibly a bad batch of pills somehow? i swear to you guys this is all legit. hhaha and yeah im pretty sure im not in a psychotic episode man
 
yea your not in an episode.. but it does state on 2 or more creditable sites that in, and i quote "Very rare cases" Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen Oral administration will cause hallucinations.

this is the first time i have every herd of such a thing, but sure enoph it can happen VERY rarly tho, not sure exactly what caused it in you AND you friend thats just weird... you know what i think lol but thats just cus i didnt see them and dont know you or your knowledge, honestly tho i believe you cuz you can really mistake the norcos.
 
yeah man this shit just dsnt make sense. it has to be something in the pills im thinking, normally that would be my last assumption, but in this case, i just dont know. i dont see how it could happen to both of us with the same pills.

Sorry i just can't see how the side effect of 'visual changes/disturbances' (briefly mentioned on those links) would fit into the hardcore hallucination category.
We are talking about an opiate here aren't we 8o
 
yes we are definatly talking about an opiate. trust me, i am extremly expereinced with hullucinogens. dissociatives, classic hullucinogens, deleriants, all of it. this was major open eye visuals

yea i agree, i only go with it because hallucinations are one of the side effects of taking just the pill alone, agreed that the length of episode doesn't match well

But also OP could have perceived time differently... lol shit man i dunno i did opiates for 4 years and NEVER herd of this and i used stronger types and never even got close to approaching the feeling of a hallucination at all.. now crystal meth THATS ANOTHER STORY! haha
