Do you feel like existence is a test?
I don't know what it may be testing, maybe the 'hope' that existence will improve?
If you were dissatisfied, disgusted with life, you wouldn't hold onto it if you thought there would be no rewards (good feelings) to reap in future
If it weren't for the blind faith of improvement, however indirectly it is felt-
Why then, if that were the case, would we need to be tested of our 'worthiness' of contentment?
What is it about there being a 'point to suffering' that drives us to continue suffering?
I guess I probably shouldn't make this thread, because I don't really care about the answers. Fuck, I don't even care about the questions.
When we've got no control over what we care about, our passion(s), what we find meaningful, what we're driven to do...
I mean sure, I can do something in spite of my aversion, but one still needs the desire to push through their aversion.
It's not even an aversion.
I mean how much can the individual claim to when there are things out of their control that influence things more than what they can control?
That's rhetorical I guess, or at least I'm not interested in it.
