should i try heroin

^ No, it wouldn't be fun "to get blown up on some percs or something", 'cause, well, you'd be in pieces on the sidewalk. ;)

In all seriousness, BL is for harm reduction--We're not going to tell you to go get hammered on something. Especially not in TDS.

I worked my way up the opi ladder. Codeine for tooth removal, vics for dislocated shoulder, percs for fun, oc for my habit, heroin cuz oc was too expensive, more heroin cuz i had a habit, then bupe because i needed to get off heroin.

The high from opiates is such a unique and euphoric journey. You could definitely at least experience that on a lower scale by getting some tabs/percs/etc. Maybe that would satiate your curiosity towards them. Much better of an idea as opposed to doing heroin. :)

yeah i might try some sort of weaker opiate out maybe codeine would be a good place to start. if i cant find that i know i can get percs and as long as u know your dose than they are fairly safe. i was outa my mind that day i dunno what i was thinking talking about getting heroin i doubt i would have even been able to get it so dont worry guys. i know a guy but i dont even know if he would sell me dope cause ive known him since i was a kid.

nah ive done lots of drugs ill be fine, i might not even do any opiates for a long time i dont really have a connect for them.

^ Read through the shrine on Bluelight. Everybody uses the same logic--"I've done lots of drugs so I'll be fine". A does not equal B. You would do well to stay away from opiates altogether. For the first time in 60 years in America, something else surpassed car accidents as the leading cause of accidental deaths in the nation: opiate overdoses are number one. Though your chances of overdosing may be slim, the chances of you getting hooked and wanting to somewhere down the road are not. Why even go there?

damn thats true i will definitely look into it some more maybe i should just stop now while im ahead. im always curious about opiates cause ive never done them.

I definitely disagree with the sentiment that doing heroin just one or two times won't harm someone. I ODed my 2nd time doing it and it was on a fairly low dose and I've always had somewhat of a natural tolerance to opiates. It's really difficult (if not impossible) to know how pure a substance is and how your body will react to it at that particular time. If I could go back, I wouldn't have even touched it to begin with.

what about weaker opiates?

Why open that can of worms? I know I wouldn't have tried heroin if I didn't try other opiates first. Yeah, it can be very tempting but it's just not worth it.

my ego would like to let me believe i could do em and not get addicted, but i know that that might not be the case. you're right spork i gotta remember that when i think about opiates.

detox went great for me, I'm 26 and I've been to more than my age LoL. I had 7 months clean and i slipped, my sponsor drove me in man and I honestly was just so grateful to be alive. I lost another child hood friend to the disease of addiction the day before I went in. I don't think anyone LIKES detox but the result for me is worth it. I still have my apartment , got a nice audi , my dogs - I remember winter nights up here in boston sleeping on the heating vents in cambridge cuz i couldn't get placed in aftercare from detox.... So believe me my dude, this was cake walk!

good to hear man im happy for u keep up your sobriety an audi an apartment and some dogs are much better than getting high on the street lol. also i know exactly were u slept ive done work over in cambridge many times.

hearing stories like yours and other ppl makes me never wanna do heroin.

right on my dude , and fyi their is a lot of fentanyl dope going around , people are falling out like crazy in boston up to lynn / lawrence - IF you were to change your mind please be VERY careful.

i think my dude gets his from salem but im not sure. thanks for the heads up but i really doubt i will do heroin. in fact im really turned off by opiates after reading more and more on BL. i still am kind of curious about some weaker ones but i think im going to just stay away from them.
