Opioids Why can't I reach desired effect??

Breathing a crushed pill up my nose isn't rocket science, so is it just that my body doesn't metabolize hydrocodone like everyone else? I've also tried swallowing them. Of ask the various times and amounts I've tried over the years, its only worked once. What gives? I'm about to just flush the tablets. Grr. I guess I should mention t that I do drugs so rarely that I shouldn't have much tolerance.
 
Chances are if your snorting hydrocodone your snorting Vicodin, which is generally very weak. Unless you have the 10mg Norcos, get some dope or an oxy 30, then you'll get high. Vicodin isn't that great.
 
also chances are if you're snorting hydrocodone in the US you are snorting APAP, ibuprofen or asprin along with it causing less to be absorbed..
stick to oral dosing with hydrocodone.. i know you said you tried eating them and got no desired effect but like was already said, it is a weak opiate when compared to others.
Try a diff opiate, and start low and work up on the dosage to be careful.
 
I just cant figure out why 5-10mgs has everyone else wonderful all day. Ppl at work have been doing them for years and one 10mg vic does them good, tolerance and all. Stronger meds are hard to find in my small town, thus making them very expensive. I figured if 40 mgs wouldn't do anything, I'm not wasting my money on anything else. I actually did get a nice high from 5mgs only one time and it never worked again. So perhaps I should just give them to my coworkers....
 
20mg is usually *around* the starting point for a high in someone with no tolerance, i don't understand how your co workers get high off 5-10 mg with a tolerance.. but anyway if 40mg has you feeling nothing and you have no tolerance and don't care to try a different opiate,the good opiates are usually always expensive unless you're like best friends with someone with a script.
If you get nothing out of opiates, maybe they aren't the drug for you?

How do your co-workers get a high off 10mg and do it all the time? But maybe you could try doing a CWE (guides on here), and drink some grapefruit juice and drink a McDonalds shake 30 minutes before injesting your drug. :) Good luck
 
OP you are doing it wrong.

You can, but you can't snort hydrocodone and apap/ibuprofen. Do cold water extraction if you want to do high doses. 30 mg will get you high if that's what you want, you will also more than likely be vomitting also so take caution
 
People are different. Some people can be deathly ill on 10mg hydrocodone, others will need 30mg to feel anything.
Experiement a bit more, and stop snorting Vicodins. There's no benefit to be gained.
 
You need to swallow them!!!!! Break them into halfs on the split mark and try a dose like 30mgs or a few 7.50s at a time at least, and by no means ever EVER snort them, they can not get absorbed because there is so much acetaminophen and fillers in the pills yer mucous membrane is clogged with that and barley none if any hydrocodone at all gets to hit your mucous membrane swallowing is the only way!! The people telling you to do cold water extraction its just not worth it fer how low of doses you are taking. And you will come out with less hydrocodone than wen u started. If u had pure hydrocodone it would be a tiny speck of powder so only a tiny speck of the actual hydrocodone is mixed in with all the fillers and acetaminophen making the pill huge so just take a few drink one or two down remember to break them and if not high after 30mins take a few more yer nose will thank me




also some people think different brands of vikes work better but i think its all in ther heads it depends on alot did u have an empty stomach that day 5mgs got you high do not eat at all before you are trying to get high on them
 
Hydro is about half as potent as oxy first of all.... I consider hydro's a complete WASTE of time. Stick to percs and pure oxy... thats opiates.
 
It's more than half as potent for most people...
I believe the conversion is 3 mg hydrocodone = 2 mg oxycodone. I don't see why everyone in this thread is hating on hydrocodone. It's a rather underrated opiate. If you take ~30 mg without a tolerance and don't enjoy the effects then opiates just aren't for you.
 
Some people also have a naturally high tolerance for certain drugs. When I first started out my junky carreer, 2 or 3 vike 5s or 2 perc 5s would be a perfect high for me. I have friends that could never get high on such low doses. Everyone's different. And please don't snort Vicodin. Save your nose for something worthwhile.

I highly disagree unless your tolerance has sky rocketed & you have to move on to stronger opiates. I just think hydrocodone is a better high, jmo, & as stated above, if you add Soma to the mix, you should get a better high!

First time I tried 5mg of vicodin, I was so nauseated & dizzy, I didnt touch any opiates after that for 10 years. Now they dont bother me, I guess it helps that I have legit pain.
 
Well since i original posted this thread, I've swallowed an oxy 30 (heavy eyelids for less than 5 mins, then back to my normal self) and IVd 20mg Dilaudid (10 seconds of fuzzy feeling and right back to normal) so are those opiates for pussies too? I think I just have an odd body chemistry.
