Opioids 14-methoxymetopon

just found this while looking around here the little bit of info there is on it

14-Methoxymetopon is an opiate analogue that is a derivative of metopon which has been substituted with amethoxy group at the 14-position. It is a highly potent analgesic drug that is around 500x stronger than morphinewhen administered systemically; however, when given spinally or supraspinally, it exhibits analgesic activity up to a million fold greater than morphine. It binds strongly to the μ-opioid receptor and activates it to a greater extent than most similar opioid chemicals. This produces an unusual pharmacological profile, and although 14-methoxymetopon acts as a potent μ-opioid full agonist in regards to some effects such as analgesia, a ceiling effect is seen on other effects such as constipation and respiratory depression.

Tried.....I've never even heard of it! I have a hard time beliving the whole "million times stronger than morphine" claim, but even if its equally as strong as morphine (however the word "strong" is defined...) I'd still be interested

Is this a RC, in the sense ppl have actually seen it being offered? Or is this an academic type research chemical--a novel substance made by 1 guy tested in 1 lab on a handful of rats and not being made in any quantity and def not being sold to the public?
 
^yeah, did you find this for sale, or just read about it on wikipedia....?

There are dozens and dozens if not hundreds of different opioids out there.

Just because you can get something, doesn't mean you should get it and use it. As the saying goes... ha
 
true and they don't have the best reputation in the rc world to boot just one of them interesting sounding things that i found while surfing around . i know its not the best thing seeing these pop up on the rc map it has death wrote all over it . i was looking at it more to do with pain management than getting high
 
The problem with any opioid that is 500x the strength of morphine, is that when it's sold as an RC, you clearly have to be super careful measuring the dosages. I mean, Jesus, 500x the potency?? I hope they're not selling grams of this stuff at a time, but then again, I don't know how it could be sold through the RC market in any reliable way. If those numbers are correct, 1mg of this stuff would kill you instantly (just as shooting 500mg would end most people). Then again according to Wikipedia there is a cieling to resperitory depression, though that cieling would still have to be pretty goddamn low for this chemical to be safe in anyway.

I just have a hard time believing that the chemical they're selling is truly 14-methoxymetopon. And if the vendor in question has a sketchy reputation, than that makes me even more skeptical. I understand the temptation but the advice I would give would be to stay the fuck away from whatever this is. I can imagine them selling something completely different (perhaps some other obscure opioid), which would be incredibly dangerous as dosing safely would be impossible to do..fuck, even if it was the real deal dosing this shit seems like it would be an insane pain in the ass. You'd need to know for sure the solubility mg/mL and then lab grade measuringe equipment. Enticing, but sounds like a suicide trip to me.

It's 500x times more potent? This is a sure recipe for death. Honestly, I don't see why you'd dabble with this. This is literally the closest to dancing with the devil as you can get. I strongly advise you don't go near this stuff and find an alternative.

Considering fent is 50-100x more potent than morphine, this stuff is just too powerful. In fact they use a similar potency drug for animals called bromadol.
 
I was on Heroin for 10 years so I am not stupid with said drugs or I would be dead a long time ago ;)
I know it is strong as I have seen the vendor write up on the site & would not do a dose without mg scales.

I know this is a "H.R." forum hence why I posted as I have no desire to die from some strange R.C. tbh.

I never had a dealing with phenzapam as I heard what happened to others, you were lucky foolsgold on that one imo.
 
Let's say you get on something that's hundreds fold stronger than morphine, and you end up developing a tolerance to it.

What are you going to do if it becomes unavailable? Suboxone and methadone likely wouldn't hold you well if you've developed a massive opiate tolerance using a super potent compound.

I would have 1 option, kick raw (Yes I have NO idea how bad that would be tbh, I can only go on my past rips to get off gear)


I have no wish to get a habit on this stuff at all, that's as dumb in my view as getting into a desomorphine habit (Krokodil)

Considering how potent it is, no. You'd have cut it with something and be sure it would be evenly distributed along with whatever you use to cut it with. I would not trust any RC vendor to do this for me either.
