How much sleep should someone get to recover from a 30hr meth binge?

Ok now, so I use speed quite frequently but never really thought about just how much is too little sleep when recovering..or just how much is too much to recover? If I end a 32 hours binge with 600mg and get to sleep, would 6 or 7 hours be enough to get up and feel refreshed. I find that when I oversleep to compensate for all the sleep dep, sleeping more than 10 hours gets me feel really shitty when I wake up. This may be moved and I don't care that's cool, I didn't know where to put this thread but could use some feedback. Muchas Gracias

I myself used various amphetamines very often for the past 5 years. A 32 hour binge is really on the low end. I would say get around 8 hours of sleep, dont sleep more then 9 hours. Oversleeping as you mentioned makes people feel lethargic and overall not very good. Its certainly possible to make a close to full recovery with 7-8 hours of sleep. I dont think you will be full of energy or in a great mood. Sleep is only one part of recovery though. Its also dependent on what you ate prior, during, and after the binge. Ordinarily people eat very little when on amphetamines. Its important to rehydrate after your binge as well. The mix of low caloric intake, dehydration, sleep deprivation, and temporarily depleted dopamine will leave somebody feeling bad.

For quickest recovery i would suggest consuming a good deal of water or sports drink, not too much though, and eat some healthy food before you get some rest. Fruit is very beneficial for recovery as well.
Also consuming a multi-vitamin can help replenish the vitamins and minerals that were lost with dehydration.

recovery is different for everyone based on their health, nutrition, age, ect..

On a side note, i noticed that the more i abused amphetamines the harder it was to recover quickly. I believe that with my habitual use has made my body become very slow to replenish dopamine and serotonin after a binge.

I guess it varies from person to person.

After taking stims your body will feel very run down.
Maybe not on the 1st night after you come down, but the 2nd and 3rd nights you'll probably struggle to wake up in the morning; even after a good long sleep.

Listen to your body - if you can sleep for 10+ hours then go for it. Don't be a slave to an alarm clock if you can help it.

Eat a banana
Drink a sports drink
Eat something with protein
Sleep 8~10 hours
Wake up and do mild exercise

But yeah, get plenty of sleep. I can sleep 14-16 hours and wake up feeling fine. Everyone is different when it comes to sleep.

This.
I forgot to mention exercise, good one renz envy :) If your able too, getting a light workout in will really help to boost your energy for the day and mood. As well as kick starting the replenishment of neurotransmitters.

How much sleep would you normally have over a 30 hour period?
That would indicate how much you need to catch up with after being awake for the same amount of time.

ive never tried any amphetamines, but im curious how do you guys end up not sleeping for prolonged periods of time? do you continue to redose large doses over the period of days? or can one single dose do this to you?

I believe it really just relates to never wanting to come down.

When you were a little kid and it was time to watch TV or play video games and your mom told you to go clean your room, leaving that TV was the last thing you wanted to do right?

Take that comparison and apply it to amphetamine use. You're in a comfortable high, but it has to end. You know you need to quit, but you just keep going because its easier to continue than it is to stop.

Eventually users experience a panic attack or possibly a medical emergency and are forced to stop.

Many people (such as myself) cannot redose more than twice without experiencing a panic attack. Brain structure and genetics determine the speed addict much more so than people understand. That is why I only take speed as it is prescribed.

^Yep.

I've never done methamphetamine but I've had a few 36-48 hour dexamphetamine runs and I can tell you didn't feel normal until I got at least 8-10 hours of sleep. It varies a lot from person to person, though. A lot of people sleep a lot longer after speed binges (and if you take downers to help you come down they can make you sleep even longer.)

thanks for the replies. but another question i have for you guys is, have you ever had any issues sleeping when taking amphetamines earlier in the day?

Before: No
Recently: Yes.

I have no clue why. 50mg of DPH followed by L-tryptophan and melatonin always do the trick.
