Celebrity BB starting now, on 5. Hope there's some decent talent on there.

Sri Lankan film called 'Machan' starting on C4 right now. May or may not be good.

Ok you call me Alex Sandy. Whatever makes you happy you fucking lunatic. :sus:

Haha, knock. Spade my have sand in his vagina, but no one is tricking you. Chill on the dissociatives. :)

4od is doing my nut in! Adverts play, five of them, then the programme doesn't. Reload, back to the adverts. :X

The Accused. Just got round to watching the first episode of the new series last night. It had Sean bean and Stephen Graham in it, and as it's written by Jimmy McGovern it was bound to be at least bloody good quality TV. It was actually bloody brilliant. I dont know of any other tv writers whose dramatic creations ring so true to life, it was real "gritty" stuff. For anyone who hasnt seen it, i couldnt recommend it strongly enough, i think its still available on iplayer.

The first series of the accused was also great, especially the one with christopher ecclestone, and also The street, and Cracker, of course. Thank God for Jimmy McGovern, someone who elevates TV dramas above the level of mindless stereotypical dross !

This week's BB exemplifies why Jesse has always been > than Walt x 1000

Anyone currently being crucified by a past grudge take note. Let. it. fucking. go. already.

Especially business fuck ups.

This week's Wilfred (US) has the following gem:

' Look, you're depressed, I get it. You know what I do when I'm feeling down? I get outside myself and do some good in the world!'

.... Yeah right!

'I do!'

'Rememer when I mauled that black teenager's face the other day? You think I did that because he had ice cream on his cheek? No! I did it because I thought it would help him go on to be the next Seal'

Just watching Toast of London on CH4+1
Channel 4’s Funny Fortnight is delivering such a rush of promising pilots you don’t envy the boss who has to choose between them. I’d say for volume of belly laughs, this is the pick of the bunch so far, a slapstick, surreal take on artistes and agents in London’s theatreland. Matt Berry (The IT Crowd) has combined forces with Arthur Mathews (co-creator of Father Ted) and plays hapless actor Steven Toast. The scene where Toast does an audition in a prison visiting room is good but better is the Soho voiceover session where he has to deliver one word. Again and again.
About this programme

Actor Steven Toast, a popular star of prestigious TV dramas, struggles to salvage his career after being vilified by the public for appearing in a controversial West End show. He hopes that landing a part in a long-running detective series will be the start of his road to redemption, but is forced to audition in a prison after the programme's producer is jailed for a hate crime. Comedy, starring The IT Crowd's Matt Berry, with Robert Bathurst, Geoff McGivern and Tracy-Ann Oberman.
anyone seen, watching?

I started watching Toast of London and it was the worst 'comedy' I'd seen in a long time, didn't realise it was a pilot.
