I just went through my cupboards and found not only one but TWO bags of stale tortilla chips. I'm fixing this tonight. =D

*follows Spork's example and roots through cupboards*

Damn. No Nachos. What I do have is Haggis flavour crisps. I kid you not. Haggis flavour. And yes, they are every bit as repellent as they sound.

Word: Covetous of those with nachos of any kind, even just plain old tortilla chips, let alone with fancy shit like peach salsa and stuff on 'em.

Lucky

To have survived the last two years of my life and come out of it with only a few scars, many life lessons, a much better understanding of myself and a man who makes me believe in soul mates again.

I move back to memphis tomorrow to start my final semester of school. Lets do this.

Missnervosa- i totaly know what it feels like feel like u will be judged about your home two days ago was the most nervouse i have been in a while check this out.
Our power company leaves a notice a few days prior that they r coming to put in smart meters. Well we already have a smart meter so were though o no big deal we already got one.
then the day befor it we see them fixin our neighbors and im like wtf he had one already so i ask and he tells me they have "smarter meters" so now im panicking. Not only is my house a mess (not from me my family is just horrible slobs) and my meter is right next to my huge pot plants, whats a guy to do they said if i didnt let them back to the meter they would shut off my power. So i had to show TID my garden and paperwork for it and explain that i am legal im not worried about cops but if they tell anyone the first person over the fence is ganna catch some buckshot to the face. I hate that. i am not a testosterone filled knuckle dragger but i had to threaten the guy from the power company lol.

Herb- dont feel bad about the pushup lol noone wants an lady that can kick their ass, im hella weak too from laying in bed nodding for so fuckin long.

Ugh what a nightmare! It's such an invasion of privacy too, there's nothing worse than not feeling secure in your own home :( Good on you for threatening the guy,you gotta do what you gotta do! <3

Herb Even as a young fit teenager I still couldn't do a single push up,so it's not just you! But I have really strong legs, and I bet you're super fit and strong in other areas :)

Okay so I'm brain dead exhausted and proud today :)

Passed my inspection with flying colours, and even though the house was nowhere near what I'd consider super clean and tidy (I'm a perfectionist and hard on myself though) the real estate guy said it looked great and was cleaner and neater than most of his tenants, and our massive backyard looked fantastic :D

He also said we were one of their best tenants,as we're low maintenance, never complain about anything, fix minor problems in the house ourselves instead of ringing and bitching them out to do it,and always pay our rent on time.

I was really surprised about getting such a glowing review, but I'm pretty proud of it %)

Im glad thats over for u miss nervosa.

MN, That's so awesome to read. I knew how anxious you were about that inspection and I'm glad it went great and it's behind you now! <3 :)

happy birthday Josh!

But even HAPPIER Day 16!

(I don't like alcohol either and I have always felt lucky LOL).

Elsewhere is my word because I had an epic dream last night and I am still totally into it in my head. It was actually a pretty horrible nightmare about being trapped but it was one of those dreams that is so unbelievably real on every level that you think you must have really lived it and I am still fascinated by all the details in it. I have only had a few dreams that I would consider vision dreams and this is definitely one of them. I just need to figure out what I need to learn.

Hey josh happy birthday, remember to take this birthday as yet another opportunity to keep yourself sober and happy :) Its little things like this that will count the whole way.

^Indeed!

Glad the tide seems to be turning for the better, let's keep that going!

My word: relieved. I was despairing that I would have to move back in with my on-and-off (the dognapper) but last night I went to see the PERFECT sublet. I put down cash on the spot and I move today and tomorrow. There are 3 adorable pugs, one non-creepy female roommate who works for a bank AND IS FROM ALASKA - she grew up with huskies so as long as Chloe gets along with the other dogs, she's welcomed too! Weekly arrangement, below market because she's paying off some student debt. The house is huge and gorgeous with a huge backyard. No more indentured servitude, which is essentially what living with that loudmouthed jackass and his mother became. "Oh, [Mariposa], could you be a dear and bring me some iced tea?" Get off your lazy ass and do it yourself, lady. As for her son, some shit needs to change if he wants me to consider any kind of relationship with him. And if my dog gets along with the pugs, she will be living with ME with the bonus of 3 new doggy friends! I was advised to petition a judge in a certain fashion with proof of ownership (have all of it) and obtain a court order for her return.

tl;dr: I has nice house now and my doggie will likely be with me very, very soon. :) Pleased.

Resourceful -made a connection w/ a careers headhunter and a biotech professional w/o even trying today. Hopeful as well - I've wanted to pursue biotech since I chose history as a major lol.

Unemployed.
Got made redundant from my job a few months ago and there is just no work going in my town. All the factories are closing down or laying off staff, one place is closing in September with the loss of 250 jobs.
So soul destroying not working as I feel I have no self worth.
I've gone from taking home £375 a week to getting £70,its so crap.
I've always worked for the last 25 years and am just not used to this.
Hopefully if I keep trying then I will get lucky one day.
Sorry for the moan people as I know loads of folk are far worse off than I am.
