Ive been thinking about deleting my heroin dealers number. I only have one but his shits on point and im worried if i delete it and go back into it ill have to go into worse neighborhoods and get not as good of deals

But i know i should do it and itll likely save my life =\ i was gonna put this in my blog but itd take forever for 3a replies so id like some feedback/cheering on to do it haha

My phone autocorrected the word do "it" to do "dope".... my phone eveb thinks im a junkie -____-

If you're still going to use heroin anyway, (esp if you're addicted) there's no reason to make yourself pay more & work harder.
If you want to C/T the shit then yeah it's a good idea to delete it.

The whole concept of deleting your dealers numbers are so YOU CAN MAKE A LIFE CHANGE. Their really is no taking a break in the heroin/cocaine/crack etc game, eventually you end up a junkie again.

It is the best choice I ever made, I'm now 23 days clean from cocaine after using several days a week for like 8 months. Without the numbers, and also having had deleted anyone who I could get those numbers from or who associated cocaine with their activities, it was actually much easier to quit then I thought.

I thought you had no choice but to quit otherwise you would be kicked out of the house. If that's still the case then you know what you have to do.

LOL about your phone's auto -correct opinion!=D

But seriously, you know you have to do it. No cheating and writing it down. It will likely save your life.<3

I literally have had BATTLES in my head about doing this...I caught myself attempting to memorize his number multiple times and STUPIDLY I now have a heroin dealers number memorized from my subconscious addict wanting to. Just delete it right now as soon as you can. Don't think about it. I happen to be 70 days clean off of suboxone and heroin but still have numbers in my phone (I literally cannot delete them, and I know i'm being hypocritical but hopefully you are stronger than me). I know it could come back to bite me one day, but my life is so much better right now that I don't even think about using anymore. I have never had more energy before in my life. The sober life is SO MUCH...SOOOOO MUCH better my man. Stay strong.

Delete the number, change YOUR number (just as vital IMO, get a free google voice if need be), and never look back.

Also side note: I used to have several of my dealers #s memorized, because for awhile i couldn't pay to keep a phone turned on. Meaning I had to write them down and then memorized all of them. But, you know what? After a few weeks of not calling him, I had forgotten. And then when I wanted to and tried to remember, and found it written down? He had changed it already. Meaning it was gone, for good.

The numbers and memories fade with time. Especially if your attention is elsewhere.

I had even more embarrassing auto-corrects back when I was dating a girl into sext-messaging. 8o

I never had this option because I always memorised all of my dealers' numbers. As well, you want to change your number so that they can't call you.

I think it's a good idea, but like others have said you have to do it once you are truly ready. Losing a private connection and then going on a wild goose chase for heroin after your first craving is a quick way to land yourself in some legal trouble (or worse).

Changing your number is good advice. In my case, deleting the numbers of my heroin dealers made no difference, as those numbers are permanently etched into my brain.

Delete them my friend. Otherwise youre holding reservations. If for some reason one day you get a wild hair up your ass and decide to get high, you got quite the obstacle to overcome now and hopefully that time will allow you to think things through. 7 months and 11 days clean today.

I decided to do the same thing some time ago. I cannot stress to you the importance of deleting all the numbers, especially your "getting high" friends. Those are the ones that will have you struggling. It's like holding onto your gear "just in case" Fuck that. You will thank yourself later. Delete them all

If you REALLY want to lose that connection call him up and be like "yo dude the feds bugged my phone and are watching me but it's cool...can I come grab a few bags?"

LOL he will never contact you or pick up for you EVER again...
