"Darkness cannot be dissipated with more darkness.
Hold your horses, people.

Recent reports are claiming that Macaulay Culkin is caught in the middle of a serious heroin and prescription drug problem, and even went as far as saying Culkin only has six months to live—yeesh!

Even though the Home Alone star's looks may cause a bit of worry, he's doing just fine.

Culkin's rep tells E! News that "the report in the National Enquirer that Macaulay Culkin is addicted to Heroin and assorted hallucinogenics is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious."

Michael, I hate when you make me say serious things, so I'm only going to say this once: You've gone too far with the drugs.

Passing the death sentence on Culkin

EVER-controversial US tabloid The National Enquirer has challenged Macaulay Culkin to take a drug test after claiming the troubled actor will soon die from a heroin addiction.

In standing by their self-described "detailed report" that the reclusive Home Alone star has six months to live, the publication - which ran similar stories on both Michael Jackson and Steve Jobs in the months prior to both high-profile deaths - yesterday urged Culkin to "get the treatment he so desperately needs".

However, the management for the former child star have called the allegations "false" and "insulting".

But The Enquirer hit back online, writing: "Our advice to Macaulay is to seek professional help to avoid the same tragic fate as other beloved celebrities including Whitney Houston, who died earlier this year.
"Should Macaulay's representatives continue to deny (our) accurate and detailed report, we are ready to offer him the opportunity to take a blood test administered by an independent medical lab."
The statement also refers to Culkin's friend Elijah Rosello, who died in March aged 24 from a heroin overdose.

The paper claims 31-year-old Culkin - who makes a living DJ-ing in New York - has turned his Manhattan apartment into a "drug den" and is supporting a $6000-a-month heroin problem. Culkin's half-sister Jennifer Adamson died of a drug overdose in 2000.

In 2004 Culkin was arrested on suspicion of possessing marijuana and two controlled substances, alprazolam and clonazepam. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanour drug offences.
On that occasion he was slapped with three one-year suspended prison terms.
After almost 10 years together, Culkin and actress Mila Kunis confirmed in January last year they had split but "remain good friends".
