Oil pourers

Once you got it apart could you see how they stuck the two pieces together? Welded or glued?

they actually glue those in there? really? is there some government body checking that the the 'oil pourers' are disabled from being used as bongs? Seems kind of pointless that they'd glue it in place.

I wonder what the law is on this one, you can sell bongs, just so long as the stem and cone piece is unusable.

crimes of garden hose vandalism is on the rise. neighborhoods are confussed on these seemingly random attacks. more news at 7

I still couldn't tell how they had done it.. I'm guessing it was some kind of ultra resistant glue though. I could see the thread so I don't think it was welded. And now that I've finally inverted the thing, the conepiece is just plain shit. Far too deep and not wide enough. :(

can i ask do you have another cone piece laying around at all? i personally would have just chopped off the inverted piece and just used an old cone. is the hole too small in the inverted cone too? drill it out to 2.5-3.0 mm depending on your likings and it may end up being a lot more effective and usable

can't you just pull the stem out and replace it with a new stem and cone piece? More money, but i know for me personally i couldn't be fucked with using a hacksaw.

then again I don't bother with bongs anymore, i just use one of those glass pipes

So I bought this 'oil pourer' from a head shop in Western Australia. Worst mistake of my life. It's caused me more anger, frustration and irritation than any other item i've ever purchased. Even more than a rubiks cube.

Bong sales have been banned here as of the start of this year, so instead of traditional bubblers they are getting sold as 'water pourers' or 'liquid pourers' with an inverted conepiece. This would be fine if it was possible to remove the conepiece and turn it the other way (which is kind of assumed when buying such a product in a headshop). But after ~ two hours of attempting to unscrew this thing I've worn out my tether. It's not just screwed on, it's friggin'' glued or welded on.

The only advice given with the product was that 'it would make a nice center piece on a table'. I can't take it back to the shop because i've scratched half the paint off the stem trying to double grip it with pliers and unscrew it. I've tried hot water & direct heat from a flame. Nothing works.

Here's a picture of the piece of junk.

If anyone has managed to unscrew/glue one of these I would love to hear from you.

hahahah um trying using some force mate, they do come off i have used more than one.maybe u got a dud go back a tell them....soory to laugh but yeah

Maybe they've changed how they attach the conepieces. I used ridiculous amounts of force trying to turn this thing :\

All you would have needed to do is just buy a stem piece (it comes with a free cone piece usually), then you wouldnt even have to fiddle around with this sort of shit, risk breaking ur bong by cutting it etc. Surely cant be that hard to buy a stem piece?

The quickest of google searches brings up many places to buy bongs, stems, cones online, some with .au

In Sydney I know of a heap of shops that still sell all that shit too. Maybe we havent got the same laws here in nsw, or maybe wa is stricter, i dunno.

WA has anti-bong laws.

THE bong seems set to become a clandestine collector's item as states across the country legislate to ban the drug-smoking apparatus.

Last month Western Australia banned the bong, with Victoria acting to make possession of one illegal from January 1 next year.

The sale, supply and possession of a bong for the purpose of taking drugs became illegal in NSW last year.

Wtf, I picked up a billy here yesterday.

Buying a beug online is definitely the way to go though. Much more of a selection. + I've noticed the shop I've bought a couple from recently has been slowly raising their prices. :\
