and let me tell you, boy what a terrible night I had. After hearing about how great oxy has you feeling I decided to split a yellow banana (10/325) with a friend at the start of the night. So basically I took about 5mg of oxy, smoked some bud, then had a few sips of beer. About half an hour later, I notice I'm getting a bit nauseas and a little sick and am not feeling too well at this point. I had told a friend how I was feeling and he said I was gonna be fine and that I should just wait it out. Moments later I threw up my entire dinner(quite expensive ya know! :( ) The rest of the night I just felt kinda out of it and real warm and my lower back started to get real sore, which I attributed to the pill. So here I am, just wondering why It made me feel the way I did. Any help appreciated, thanks!

it would appear that you've little to no experience/tolerance to oxy and drinking the beer on top has made you sick - it's a common thing for someone inexperience with opioids to get nauseated after smoking then drinking further afterward.

to enjoy the experience i would use the oxy alone, perhaps just add a little bud, until you're familiar with the oxy high alone.

the party setting you were in may not have been ideal and may have added to the fact of you getting sick.

i have no explanation for the sore back except you may have twinged something whilst spewing up?

stay safe.

Nope, no tolerance to opioids at all before last night. All I had was like 3-4 sips, and they weren't even too big. Thanks for the reply, maybe you're right in that I should just try the oxy alone. If that's the case, do you think that the apap in the pill had anything to do with me getting sick?

oh i missed that part, thought you had extracted it out. there is chance of hepatic (liver) injury when used together, though, more so in higher doses of both. it seems you drew the wrong card and lucked out and it had a bad effect on you.

it is best to avoid an apap/alcohol combination of any kind.

Alright so do you think it would be okay for me to give it another try? This time I wont be drinking, but I'll probably be smoking a bit.

I would suggest taking it by its self. The small amount of Tylenol you ingested should not have anything to do with you getting sick.

Sometimes people are sensitive to opiates. Oxycodone is a strong opiate. I have read where people get nauseated at normal dosage for medical purposes.

Eat first then try it. Maybe you will have a better expierence.

Be careful opiates are addictive.

If you are this new to opiates, I really would recommend not even smoking or doing anything else that could have a cumulative effect with it. The pleasant experience from the opiate should really have you feeling great on its own.

I would say dose where you did before at 5mg based on your reaction last time. Also if you start to feel overly nauseous, laying down or reclining a bit can help a good deal. If you do give it another go, I hope you have a much better experience, but also bear in mind that everyone is different, and opiates may just not be for you.

yeah, just try taking half of the oxy you did and smoke a smaller amount. if you're a smoker you'll find a small bit can add to the glow of oxy.

opiates arent the drug for you. the half of 172 mgs of apap and some beer would not affect the experience significantly. you're a n00b. stay away from the "yellow banana's" and stick with the booze/weed. perhaps some "blue footballs" may be more your speed.

Meh, fuck that guy. Your not a "n00b" by any means my friend, in fact i know everyone is telling you to just do it alone next time, but my personal advice would be to just say fugg it, 2 tears in a bucket my man. I have known plenty of people that have had the same experience that you had, people laughed at em, but fast forward about three years and see who gets the last laugh with the ole opiates. If you didn't like it, just put it on the top of your "don't do again" list and keep having a blast smoking a little weed and some brews.

^ Truth, if you are able to stay away from opiates all together, all the better. The other advice given was just under the assumption you were going to proceed.

5mgs ain't much at all but I wouldn't have mixed it with anything. Opiates, especially oxy, are sooo enjoyable on their own imo and anything else kinda detracts from the experience when your just starting out. If you do decide to do it again, just take the same dose and don't mix with anything. If you have had a tylenol b4 and didn't get sick, the APAP had nothing to do with the sickness you felt. Nausea is a very common side effect with opiates and they just might not be for you (which is a good thing considering they will FUCK your life in the long run). My sister and mom both get sick anytime they have to take painkillers, but I can eat them like candy and just enjoy the experience...to each his own

Becareful my friend

Yea this guys^ just a douche, alot of people get nausea and throw up during their first opiate experience even at low doses just by itself

Next time take a benadryl or gravol 30 minutes prior to taking your 5mg of perc. This will almost completely counter-act the nausea, and other irritating side effects of opiate usage such as itchyness. For me it makes a world of difference.

Benadryl and gravol both share the same ingredient, the anti-histamine diphenhidramine. The only difference is gravol has a slightly modified version, where a mild stimulant is attached to the diphenhidramine molecule, making it Dimenhydrinate.

This slightly counter-acts the sleepyness/drowsiness that regular diphenhidramine gives you, so if you are looking for a nod use benadryl, if you wanna attempt to be able to do shit still, use gravol.

Some people are extremely sensitive to opiates and will get sick even from 5mg, I've seen it happen before. I wish I was like that, the first time I tried Vicodin and Percocets was when I was 16 and working at McDonald's, and I needed to take at least 20mg right off the bat to get a good long high going, although the first time I ever tried them I got a pretty decent buzz off 15mg of Hydrocodone and 10mg of Percocet. The first time I did Roxicodone I took 15mg orally and never felt anything from it, then the second time I snorted 30mg and felt a nice buzz but it didn't feel much stronger than 20mg of Percocet, and at that time I still wasn't anywhere near having an opiate habit and rarely did them.

I was 19 when I developed a full pain killer habit, although it was only 60mg a day on average. I stayed on it for just about two years, getting up to 90mg a day until I barely even got a buzz from it anymore, and then switched to Suboxone. I'm still somewhat regretting switching to Suboxone instead of kicking it cold turkey because I've been on Suboxone longer than I've been on actual pain killers and it feels even harder to come off of, but I'm trying to ween myself down one step at a time.

consider yourself lucky lol, my first experience with oxy was with 80mg's of the shit...I had no idea about dosage and thought, shit it's only one pill, plus I snorted it. I was literally throwing up for hours, my eyes were as red as blood, and I could barely walk.

I can't believe nobody is mentioning the alcohol.

Mixing Alcohol with any kind of Pill is bound to make you very sick.
