I really hate condoms and have only used them literally less than 5 times in my life, even then I rarely kept it on the whole time. It's not just any random chick though I'm not gonna go fuck some hooker or something, the girls usually seem decent if I'm going to go for it in the first place and I'm usually careful about that. Sex is spur of the moment for me, I don't like the process of using a condom. Here you are messing around with this chick then you have to pause and say "okay yeah let's have sex, let me grab my protection because you may have an std" (first you actually have to have one too), then you have to find the damn thing, tear it open, put it on, and then only then you can get back to where you left off. What a mood killer. Plus I like to be able to feel it when I fuck.

But I recently learned I too may possibly have HPV (with no symptoms, but caught wind of it through a second hand test) as a result of my recklessness so I guess I just have to get used to the less pleasurable feeling of using condoms and the awkward moment killer of having to stop and roll a piece of rubber over my dick when I have sex from now on.

I don't agree with you on this one. Everybody has their own views on abortion, but comparing pregnancy to an STD is a little cynical. Pregnancy goes away, eventually - too many STDs don't.

While I agree pregnancy isn't an STD, it doesn't go away if you're stuck paying child support for the next 18 years. For someone who's already broke it can ruin their life.

As long as you are getting regular sexual health check ups (which in my opinion should be EVERYONE who is sexually active)
Syphilis isn't really anything to worry about, it is cured with one injection of penicillin. It's only if it goes untreated that it becomes a big deal.

Just saying, still definitely back practising safe sex of course, condoms/dental dams etc.

now, I'd do things a lot differently... INCLUDING the birth control. but damm, the skin-to-skin stuff was just to die for (figuratively speaking). I got lucky, and I mostly/always stuck to my regular dose. especially when I was more active (17-21/23 - rarely when single now) so I set the fake hormone boundaries fairly young for better, or worse.

It's POSSIBLE to catch an STD from anyone ... but it's much less risky in some situations.
