my dad totaled his truck or was robbed he can't remember cause too much xanax and now we are hella broke cause he has to buy a new truck and me my dad and gpa all live together and are all on social security income so now i have to sell most of my oxycodone pills which i need badly i might just kill myself

Does he have any physical injuries ? Most time when someone totals a vehicle they have some scrapes ... at the very min. I take it you don't have insurance, and chances of getting back a stolen vehicle are always real low... but that being said it's worth trying via police report.
If you don't mind me asking, how old are you and your father ? I'm sorry about the concept of having to sell your meds, what are your RX'd them for if you don't mind me asking ?

my dad hurts but not like he should with how messed up the truck is and he only had liability insurance and we told the police he also doesn't have his wallet i'm 23 and my dad is 43 and i'm RX'd the oxycodone for chronic neck and back pain

Damn sorry I have had some back problems and it's some of the worst pain to deal with imo.

What's stopping you guys (you and your father) from getting off SSDI and working ? I don't mean that in a instigating way, I know plenty of people who cannot find any work at all in this economy.

well i have panic attacks every day and i'm schizophrenic and the voices i hear tell me to kill people including myself and to steal shit and other bad ideas but i am trying to go to culinary school i just need a way to pay for it and there are scholarships and grants and financial aid and that would pay for most of it but i'll still need a little money

if you can go to school why don't you? also if your dad was hurt did he go to the ER? if he needs meds for the pain maybe he should go to the hospital. Why is there no chance for the police to catch who stole your shit and get it back?
So he crashed his car then he got robbed?.... at the same time

If your on SSI you have insurance maybe you need help with your voices if there telling you to hurt people that a bad sign maybe go to the doctors? Oxy won't help your voices they have meds for them that help.... sorry to hear about your problems sounds horrible.

i've tried 5 different meds for the voices and they didn't help my dad is on bupe and he was blacked out on xanax so we don't know if he crashed or someone jacked him and crashed doesn't matter i just want to die worse now than before this cause now i have even less money and i consider my money my dads and gpa too just as they do the same with me and i need to sell my oxycodone to get enough money to cover what financial aid and scholarships wont cover

So you're still planning on going to school this next semester? :)

I'm sorry to hear five different medications didn't help your symptoms. It can be so frustrating when you are actively seeking out medical help and it isn't working. I know how that feels.

Stay strong!

If your father was blacked out on Xanax and behind the wheel then he probably totaled it. More then likely nodded off for a second at the wheel and went over the curb into something.

You should actually apply for financial aid, and see exactly how much the institution is willing to give you, then go from there. You'd be surprised at how much you will actually be awarded. My classes were completely covered, when I was a full time student, and I still had a significant amount of money left over. If you are still in need of money after that, you can apply for a student loan, which you can defer payment until you are finished with school. This way you'd be able to keep your oxycodone, and have a little extra cash on the side. Best of luck to you and your family!
