They interviewed him on local radio and he said that that was pretty much how it went down. At first they just asked if he was sure that he emptied his pockets, then they did the body scan and asked him if he had some kind of growth lol. Dude seems like a total douche though

Especially when your the new kid no one talked to but with in a few months I kind of owned them and everyone wants to be on your team and all that. then I scored a 27 on the ACT wifh out really studying even though I was one of the biggest partiers and stoners and failed a few classes(mainly on purpose) and was voted biggest slacker in the yearbook polls

I'm back to work after spending a weekend in Northern Maine. We camped and went white water rafting. It was so awesome, I really want to go again before the end of the summer. Everyone should try it at least once. I can definitely see myself getting really into it.

I also start my new position at work this week. I got yet another promotion :) I'll be doing some traveling now. Also got a decent raise again too. Life seems to be working itself out :)

so idk if this is new or i'm just noticing it more, but there are a lot of kids from the suburbs in the paper dying of heroin OD's and it's like every parent of these kids suddenly wants to start their own organization. My problems with it are this:

1. This isn't new. Heroin isn't new in the Chicago suburbs. It's been around for awhile, ever since heroin became more readily available in powder form making it cheaper and snortable.

2. Heroin is dangerous. Really dangerous, and having first hand experience, I get that. However, you running your mouth and starting an organization based on fear and anger and no knowledge just puts a lot of fear, anger, and misinformation out there. It doesn't really do much good. I just read an article about a kid that died from an OD and his mom says he got addicted because his friends were unbeknownst to him lacing his marijuana with heroin. Um, yeah, OK. Sorry for your loss and all, but you are in fucking denial.

3. WTF kind of organization are you starting? Are you trying to make heroin illegal? Cause, um, it already is and probably will be for the foreseeable future. Trying to get drug education programs in schools? Already is place with shitty rates of success. Are you trying to get the courts to send addicts to treatment instead of jail? Probably not, but that would be where your time was better spent.

sorry for the rant but it pisses me off. this lady in my aa group is doing the same shit cause her daughter was/is addicted. they started a stupid facebook group that i get 50,000 notifications a day from and they talked to the local newspaper and I still have no idea what purpose they are trying to accomplish and the daughter is probably not even sober to be quite honest so what the actual fuck.

even being sober, bluelight has made it impossible for me to stand people giving out bad information about drugs. my friends always think it's weird that i feel like i have to tell people that snorting vicodin or xanax is a waste of their time and the bioavailability is actually much higher if you just take it orally and even snorting it most of it is absorbed in your stomach through the drip anyway, but it's like, if you are going to fucking do drugs then at least do them right and do it as safe as possible. your nasal septum will thank me for saving it years of snorting APAP in the future.

First of all, yeah everyone fucking knows heroin is bad. Pretty sure it's the mother of all hard drugs. If heroin was a swear word it'd most certainly be fuck. Maybe even fuck with a racial slur mixed in. So who are you trying to reach with this group, a bunch of people that just didn't realize that heroin was bad or something???

Second, yeah I hate that, there are a couple people that I have to tell over and over again "dude don't snort your benzos it's such a fucking waste" and every time it's like "yeah i know, but I really like snorting my drugs". WTF!!! Like, okay I get it, I'll snort oxy any day over eating it, but goddamn you are blatantly wasting MOST of your benzos. Xanax you get a little, but snorting kolonopin or ativan really? you may as well just dissolve it under your tongue, it kicks in sooo quick and you won't waste it all... You know me it's sure not like I don't take my fair share of drugs, why is it that you'll never see me snorting any benzo everrr? wft. Stupid people are dumb.
