Big time .

I've got plenty of stuff to do like bills & other household admin. some of it quite urgent but i'm really feeling Saturday nights shenanigans .
Wish i had some drugs ..
 
I'ive got to delve into the denial pile of letters that I have which involves opening shouty letters from debt collecters et al. Mostly from parking sodding tickets. I got another one the other day ffs.. Windsor is murder to park in. The road I parked on didnt have clear signs not to so Ive got to write some sort of appeal letter to them.. *sigh *

yeah i wish I had some smack lol

I'd love to come up to Bath and get rat arsed with ya sometime Brimster.

How were da Roses?

Lazy day for us all eh?

I need to be in college to sort out my teachers, not work. Finished it all but they're so incompetent I need to check they know where it all is.

Fukin ace Time was had .

Feeling it 2day big time when i was a young un i could just brush it off but these days it takes about a week.

I always had about a 4 day come down with E's even when I was a youngster.. Its rare now that I'll try anything that has a serious come down now.

My delphiniums and foxgloves are pretty much getting shot.

Like Yella says, I'm just looking forward to a bumper shroom crop this year after 2 mediocre ones for the last 2. If we could have July and most of August sunny and then the back end of August and most of September to rain like buggery, I'll be a very happy camper

The year that Rhianna had 'Umbrella' out. It rained solidly all summer... There was a sunny Indian Summer in Sept and the crop was bountiful indeed!

Edit: The slugs* have demolished me lupins.. They've avoided the fox gloves thankfully ( probs because of the digitalis)

So next year I think I'm going to just plant more Foxgloves I reckon.

Can be oppressive though I agree.

After a few weeks of huge family issues there seems to be a chilled hiatus on the domestic front today.. ie I'm chilled, me nippers chilled..we're still in perjamas watching rubbish t'v, sofa surfing and tea n biscuit eatin'.

I havn't had any dramatic phone calls from extended family yet so fuck the grey sky.. shits alright : )

I cut down plastic coke bottles n such and put them around the base of the plant to protect them when I plant em, so they can really establish before slugs do their thing. Occasionally i put a few pellets within the plastic circle so birds or hedgehogs don't eat the dead slugs. works for me

there's a nursery near me that's a bit ghetto but he gets all the same stuff B & Q do and flogs em at 75% of the price. he also does 3 large perennial plugs for a quid (big ones, like 15cm) .. they'll flower this year. so i've been buying foxgloves in great numbers cos I love em and theyre great for bees. loads of different campanulas too, and tons of others. been going every week and spending £20 but getting insane amounts of plants. a 6 pack of well established Delphiniums for 1.50. B & Q are doing the same pack for 7.99.

he's having a climber sale atm, and has got a massive range of passionflowers and clematis, about 2 ft high ones, for £2.50 each.

I bought lots of trays of plug plants for the annuals this year online because it works out cheaper ... trays of 42 for 9.99 and then planting them on.
 
myself. although, it's kinda similar to a cloche [sp?] I guess

I also use plastic bottles to act as a little mini greenhouse/cloche for small plants or seeds that I sow straight in the ground. esp if I put out plants early. I use the neck half of a small or large coke bottle, leave the top off, and then just put it over the plant and push it in the ground a bit. it keeps moisture in, protects from wind and also frost and slugs. Been doing that for a couple of years now. I'm big on the whole recycling thing and as neither me or my mum get a plastics collection, there's always a pile of em to take to the tip, so I just cut them to size and use them as and when in the garden

Never mind fannying about taking photos of your mooncups, I've seen your compost bins :D You can't tease us like that and leave us wanting more. Marmzez garden please. And I don't mean your lady garden, although I'm sure some would appreciate the mix-up. (you know who you are, sniffers ;) <3)
 
Its a clever idea Marmz.

I was thinking of doing a bee keeping course in September but just discovered that the hive and gear that goes with it amounts to about £400.

So that might not happen.. We'll see. Perhaps i'll have a few windfalls.
