Pills vs. Crystals

how do you know your pill is legit and not an imitation?

in my area it's much easier to get good rocks of mandy than it is to find good pills which is probably why a lot of people in the UK (or my part of the UK at least) prefer getting md to pills. however like you said there are other, better, ways.

if i had to choose between having a gram of definitely 100% MDMA HCl or an equivalent amount of good clean pills with that much in i'd still probably go for the gram of mandy. i like weighing up my own dose and i love looking at it.
 
Well if a pill looks EXACTLY the same and comes from the same batch that is making many other people roll their balls off... it's probably not fake. Not to mention that's the #1 reason to get a test kit lol.


How do you know the crystal you get isn't an "imitation"? It would be MUCH easier to sell crystal 6-APB/methylone/mephedrone as MDMA than it would be to press a pill that looks exactly the same as an extremely high quality press like the Defqons and Speakers..

i figured we were assuming that we'd test it anyway because that's how BL rolls.

if pills like white speakers and defqons were readily available in my area i'd probably choose them over crystal but they're not unfortunately :( best bet here is getting some rocks and testing them.
 
i'm gonna explain myself a bit better.

in a world where you can get 100% pure mandy and 100% pure mdma pills i'd choose the mandy. this world is made of silk ;)

in a world/area where you can get decent presses really easily (which isn't my area of the UK) i'd choose them over the mandy

in a world/area where you can get decent mandy really easily and there are a lot of pills but barely ever any of the awesome NL presses i choose mandy and that's my area of the UK

The way I see it, you can be relatively sure that a pill is good before you even test it. With crystal, you can never be sure if it's cut or even MDMA until you test it yourself...


So, IMO, pills are safer. But of course, if you can easily get 100% pure MDMA there's nothing wrong with that :) it's just my personal preference to carry around pills rather than a capsule
 
yeah if i lived in the US (no offense) where i hear about all that methylone and other RCs going about i'd stick with pills.

and yeah the silk world is the best world. no problems with quality there.

I've searched through quite a few research chems, ecstasy copycats, etc in crystal form and none of them look like the rocks we get. I could eyeball a rock of MDMA easily, as for the cuts in the rock, it seems entirely speculative and theres no reports of it. That PR report looked nothing like what we get tbh. I just don't buy that its re-rocked.

A pill is much easier to conceal other substances with the MDMA as its all compressed. Pills are cool though, I like the whole concept of new strong pills going around and trying to different good pills. Suppose part of the fun is the element of the 'unknown' even though that marquis tests black it could be really strong, a mix of MDMA/MDA etc. Sounds exciting not knowing exactly what to expect unlike our standard rocks. Something about popping a pill that I find exciting.
 
that one looks better folley, but still i think it's too opaque for white crystals. still looks 'off' to me.

i'm not doubting that crystals can be cut and still look legit. just these examples don't look legit and i wouldn't buy them.
 
also, if 5% of it is MSM that won't make much of a difference. it means 120mg would contain 6mg of MSM and 114mg of MDMA.

It would probably be more like 10%... MSM is just a completely inactive cut that will rock up well with MDMA though.


I'm just saying, pills are generally safer than powder that could be anything... I know if I bought crystal MDMA what I would get would be pure as well, but I'd just rather get pills... they're easier to carry and handle if nothing else

I'd have to agree with you. With pills, sure they can be cut by the presser, but when someone takes a couple to a test center the truth would come out and most people would avoid those unless they liked what it was cut with.

With powder, any middleman between you and the chemist can put any garbage in it easily. It's quite a bit harder (and I would think too troublesome and not worth the time) for someone to take a speaker, crush it down, cut it with something else, and re-press it into a speaker. You'd probably just know that something was weird with the pill.

we're talking about rocks not powder though. i'd never buy powder mdma when it's available as nice chunky rocks.
